Currently Undefeated Best Handheld Console
At the time the PSP was capable of producing an experience somewhere inbetween the PS1 and PS2, which may not sound much, but it was portable - a feat not thought possible at the time. The PSP came with a widescreen display, which also gave an incredible handheld experience comfortably without interlocking fingers like you would get on the GameBoy. The console not only had a huge range of UMD and PSN games to play, it also had the ability to emulate and play PS1 games. You could go on vacation and play Gran Turismo from a deck chair, or explore the depths of Tomb Raider from the comfort of the porcelain throne. For those comfortable with ignoring Sony's restrictions, this console is also completely compatible with homebrew, exploitable on the latest firmware release by PRO-C2. This enables your console to play custom PS1, downloaded PSP, GBA, GBC, NES, Mega Drive (Genesis) and Master System games. The console can be a portable powehouse of comfortable game emulation, with actual physical buttons instead of touchscreen awfulness offered by the Android options. If you wish to buy one post 2016, then be aware that most if not all batteries for the PSP 1000 are dead. It's advisable to grab a portable power pack alongside this console, otherwise you'll be tethered to an AC socket every time you play the console. There are also tons of guides online for reviving these batteries if you're an electronic experts.

Its all in China not English not happy after spending all that money on the sony psp console 😑 😒.

The console is excellent condition but for the price I would have thought a new genuine sony battery would be in order not a cheap Chinese copy that last 15min

Got me sorted in time for christmas
Had a small mixup with the tracking but upon informing the seller they immediately fixed the issue and got it sent back out ASAP. Item is in good condition and arrived with some extra games, charger and memory card. Spot on.

Console would not stay on
Purchased as a replacement but item would not charge and when it turned on it would turn of after a couple of seconds, returned for a full refund.
