I really like this. I love the ability to weigh stuff without having to get the scales out. Pop your ingredients in, turn the dial and off you go. Brilliant for novice bakers and time saving for those who are more advanced. I haven't had any issues with it a year in. Bought to replace a 10+ yr old Kmix (which I did love!).

First review was rejected as it seems when you speak the truth its not always appreciated, way I see it don't so it then in the first place ... still; here is my new review read between the lines its clear what happened. I purchased the Bosch mixer for £499, which was on sale and promised a 15-day delivery. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived the next day. However, upon inspection, I noticed several issues. First, the LCD screen was faulty, scrolling random letters instead of displaying clear text, and the scales were inaccurate. To my surprise, there was no manual included, and the security sticker on the LCD screen was missing. This made me wonder if the item might not be new, especially after contacting Bosch, who confirmed that new units should have both the sticker and the manual. The mixer did perform well when I tested it on the manual setting, producing good dough. I was disappointed by the lack of new product assurances and the inconvenience of returning such a heavy item. I ended up walking to the shop, (14 a mile) with my daughter carrying the mixer for me, as I have had previous surgery. (which was made clear when I asked for it to be collected from home) If I buy again it will be from an alternative supplier one that covers me if it needs to be returned plus to ensure what I received was new. Though it made good dough, I’m not convinced that the price justifies the quality, especially for a product that didn’t seem to be in new condition. I have since made dough by hand and its faster to be fair so maybe its a good thing I was messed around.

Excellent mixer. A bit confusing to setup as the messages on the display can be a bit unclear especially when scrolling across as there is a noticeable delay in the refresh rate. There is a cap covering the rear motor attachment which must be securely clicked into place before the machine will run and it’s very easy to overlook and the machine doesn’t make it super clear that’s the problem. So colour marked indicators would have helped (black on black is hard to see). But that aside it’s a great mixer. Does everything you’d want.

This is a fantastic mixer, but, and this is a big but, the instruction leaflet is dire. Cheaply produced, on thin, cheap paper, and not that helpful in getting started. Once you have the auto mix sorted, then the machine is brilliant. Bosch have got a premium product, let down badly by the cheap & nasty instruction leaflet.

And cleaning up has been absolutely painless — every part, including the bowl, whisk, beater, and dough hook, is 100% dishwasher safe. That’s been a massive time-saver, especially on busy baking days. Even though it’s only been two weeks, I’ve already come to rely on this mixer as a daily tool in my kitchen. It’s made my baking more consistent and enjoyable, and it handles tasks that used to be time-consuming or messy with ease. Whether you’re an experienced baker or just getting serious about home cooking, the Bosch Stand Mixer is a smart investment. It’s fast, strong, reliable, and incredibly easy to maintain. I honestly wish I had bought it sooner.

The ease of cleaning is great as the utensils can be put in your dishwasher and the durability is very good and the motor is guaranteed for 10 years lots of cooking ideas can be done using this superb mixer.
