Good entry grinder even for espresso
This is a great coffee grinder for those who are just lightly into coffee. I use it to make my espresso, pairing it with a Breville Bambino Plus. The Shardor grinder makes respectable espresso grounds, well suited to the Bambino Plus. Note that these are typically considered entry-level, good for what they are but these aren't going to compete with $1,000+ machines, nor should they. If you're like me, and enjoy a bit of espresso as a pure layman, this grinder will get you highly desirable pulls with no mess. Over the past year of ownership, it's been working 4x a week and hasn't jammed whatsoever. The unit sits stable on its base and doesn't wobble when grinding. If there is a minor issue, it's the metal protrusion clips that hold the hopper open. There are two of them and they sit in the grinder opening pointing upwards. They can break if you're removing the hopper to clean them, so be very gentle. With that said, Shardor was very kind to honor my warranty when I pointed out this flaw. That speaks to a company that stands behind its product. I'm happy to award this product 5 stars.

Shardor Conical Burr Coffee Grinder is Fabulous! Especially for Espresso drinks!
Absolutely fantastic! Being able to grind directly into the porta filter cleanly, and precisely, is a game changer! I'm an espresso drinker, I use the darkest, oiliest, beans I can find! Shardor grinder powders those beans effortlessly! If you are using a blade grinder you will be blown away by how much better this grinder makes your coffee taste, how easy it is to operate, how clean it leaves the counter! With 51 settings, I'm confident that your particular size grind can be found! Blade grinder NO! Shardor conical burr coffee grinder a big 5 star Yes! Buy with confidence! The one you want!

You will not regret buying this!
This has made me mornings amazing. There is nothing like the smell of freshly ground coffee. Straight into the maker, perfect, controlled size. Might have to give it a shake every now and then when on espresso super fine grind as it gets a miss on the bean, which is easy to hear. No mess, no fuss, just a great product and performance. Highly recommed.

Good burr grinder that is affordable
Easy to use and affordable burr grinder. We decided to switch from a Nespresso machine to an espresso machine but didn’t want to spend a crazy amount when we’d never owned/used one before! Functionality: it’s easy to use, it has multiple settings and seems to grind well! It has a small footprint which is nice, and the machine looks nice as well. The one other thing I don’t love is it doesn’t hold the portafilter on its own well. It kinda sags in the front and nothing I’ve done has corrected that so I just hold the portafilter while it’s grinding. It is somewhat messy, and no matter what I do, it seems to drop a small amount of grinds after we’re done using it. I haven’t had any issues with clogging or static electricity.

Auto-start grinding when inserting the portafilter — convenient and clean
I’ve been using this grinder for 4 weeks. I bought it intuitively, without reading reviews — and I’m very happy with it. The standout feature for me is the automatic start: insert the portafilter and grinding begins. Accessory kit: two dosing rings (51 mm and 58 mm — measured by me) and two holder attachments for portafilters in the same sizes. The holder attachment installs in place of the bean hopper for direct grinding into the portafilter — convenient and universal for different machines. When manually increasing the grinding time, it’s important to carefully monitor the filling of the portafilter to avoid overfilling. P.S. Filter coffee experience (Stansport Stovetop Coffee Maker — purchased on Amazon two weeks after buying the grinder): Grind: 30 on the grinder scale (medium‑coarse). Portions: selected 5 cups on the grinder — it may have been a coincidence, but that exact amount fit perfectly into the brewer’s basket. Water: filled to the “5” mark on the carafe. Brew: placed the brewer on gas; in about 10 minutes the carafe was filled; note — some water was apparently absorbed by the grounds, so I topped up a little water into the upper reservoir. Result: excellent taste and quality — clean and nicely saturated. The coffee came out truly hot (hotter than I expected). Personal note: I might actually prefer this method to espresso. I drank one large mug hot; cooled the rest, poured into a thermos, and enjoyed it on a bus trip. Context: I live in Israel (220 V) and use a proper 220→110 V converter — everything works stably. Bottom line: Excellent value for money; the auto‑start and the accessory set (two rings and two holder attachments) make daily use fast and tidy. For filter coffee, a grind of 30 and the 5‑cup preset matched my Stansport Stovetop Coffee Maker perfectly, which I purchased here on Amazon two weeks after buying the grinder.

Great little grinder!
I’ve used this coffee grinder daily for about 1.5 years, and it’s been fantastic. The grind consistency is excellent. Like most burr grinders, a little shake now and then keeps it flowing smoothly. Overall, it’s reliable and a pleasure to use—I couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

Works great for the coffee shop espresso at home replacement
Extremely excited for this purchase. I searched for months for the right electric grinder for my breville bambino plus and had settled on the reality that I would need to spend hundreds of dollars on one that could be good for my high quality espresso beans. A good grinder would easily start at the low end $200-300. I was using a manual grinder up to this point while I researched. Anyway , decided to just try this out to see if it would be any good. I’m no coffee snob. I’m a coffee lover who is visits my fave coffee spot & spends $7 on a latte who just wanted to start making and saving at home and keep the coffee shop visits for the occasional social treat. This was easy to set up, and started grinding virtually perfectly from the get go. You should grind a cheap bag first to toss out is industry recommended. I made my first latte today and it was delicious. No mess or spillage, fast grind, compact sized design, versatile, accurate and great build considering this price point. Gotta love that China. Functions great for espresso. I used setting 5. Love this. Great value for the everyday coffee lover. Not sure how the snobs would feel as they get deep in the nitty gritty. But definitely great for me and the regular + coffee loving human.

Bad holder for small portafilters, retention issues, otherwise good
My 1st grinder. Bought initially for drip coffee but since switched to espresso exclusively. Set it at 2nd lowest espresso setting that seems to work best for pretty much any beans I buy. I have a 51mm portafilter machine. It grinds fine for a cheap machine but I have no coffee degree to say how much worse it is than those expensive grinders. The 51-54 (I think, the smaller one) portafilter holder is utterly useless. It pours the grinds all over it and a huge chunk of them ends up spilled every time. I tried multiple techniques/positions.... all fail. NOPE! For that reason I only use the container to catch, it's way faster than cleaning up a pound of spilled grinds of the station after every use. Retention unfortunately is an issue too. I use the same beans, 15g... and sometimes I get grossly underfilled puck and sometimes it just dumps what looks like 2-3 extra grams out of nowhere. Where it all hides IDK, I always pump the hopper, but sometimes it just pockets a large lump of beans until I run the next shot. It's random, I'd say 8 out of 10 grinds it does ok but every now and then I get the "Extra 3 grams at no extra cost" bonus. No static whatsoever. Neat little machine if you're not picky.

Buen servicio por parte del vendedor
Actualmente en uso. Llegó antes de lo esperado. Todavía me falta acostumbrarme a su funcionamiento, pero nada difícil.
