I have a mini drawstring designed backpack in cloth material. I did not like using the drawstring, so I purchased this item to convert my mini backpack into zipper open. It worked well. Construction of the zipper is good, and it looks to be durable. I chose this jumbo size for ease of operating with my thumb and index finger. I hate those small zipper pulls as they hurt the tip of my finger. Also it is all plastic material, which was what I was looking for. No chemical smells. I did notice if you let the zipperhead run all the way back, it will fall off (which is perfect application for a zip up jacket). I will have to put something there to stop it from running off because I'm using this for my mini backpack. Zipper is lightweight, which I like. I chose the color black in 9" because I wanted to leave space on the front and back. It was easy to use my sewing machine to install this zipper. Thus far, I am happy with this jumbo zipper. If I was to compare the size, I can describe the teeth as a tad bit larger than my North Face Fleece zip jacket. I am very happy with this product. I have installed it on 2 items, a mini backpack and a small shoulder bag. Both look great and I can't wait to use them. I recommend running the side of a candle on the zipper teeth, which will make it run even more smooth. I do that to all my zippers.
