Great for Beginners
I ordered this mixer to play around with my karaoke machines and its really quality and many options to make beautiful music with. It does have to be plugged in with a included C-USB cord which was the only reason I took a star off. I hoped it could be charged and used portably. It has many options for re-verb, treble, bass etc. It has holes to plug in up to 2 mics at a time along with 1 for headset. It is a good price and perfect for beginners.

Does way more than I expected
I got this Facmogu mixer to run some sound from a PC and also a microphone and guitar all to my rack amplifier so they can all take advantage of my amplified speakers without the hassle of unplugging and re-plugging various devices, and it works great for that-but it can do so much more. In addition to all the wired connections, it offers a nice stable Bluetooth connection as well along with all the audio adjustments and sound effects that I haven't even gotten around to playing around with yet. This is a fun little mixer that doesn't bottleneck my sound quality or introduce any noise or feedback. I am very happy with it. My only complaint is I wish the instruction manual was a little more robust. It took a little figuring out on my own, but it was well worth the time invested.

3.0-stars -- Appears to work acceptably, but detailed review will follow
PRELIMINARY REVIEW:This product came to me as a Vine review suggestion. I will be giving this a more in-depth review as I have a chance to use it over the next few weeks / months. The rating will be adjusted up or down at that point to reflect my findings.Currently, I have seen nothing on the product that would indicate that it does not meet the seller's claimed specifications and as such, it should be an acceptable product. As such, it rates "average" (i.e. 3.0-stars) until proven otherwise. After I have a bit more experience with this unit, I'll update this review with my findings.BACKGROUND:My wife teaches a line dancing class for seniors at one of the Houston community centers. She takes it pretty seriously, although I suspect that most of the old ladies there are more interested in it for just a social occasion. The room that she has been assigned has a PA system which I use with a small mixer and a UHF wireless microphone transmitter and receiver to get her voice over the PA system. The speakers in the PA system are not good enough for music, but they work acceptably for voice. When Vine offered this to me for review, I thought that it might give me some options on configuration that my current mini mixer does not have, so I agreed to do the review. One of the problems that I've seen with other Bluetooth to line audio adapters is that there was a noticeable delay between when you said something on the microphone and when it made it to the speakers. When you are calling out the steps in a dance, according to my wife, that delay is extremely annoying and messes people up. I have no rhythm whatsoever, so I have to take her word on that.My ultimate goal is to have a system simple enough that she can handle it by herself when eventually I croak and she's still kicking -- just being realistic here since I'm an old fart and women statistically live longer than men.ORIGINAL AD DESCRIPTION:Facmogu F009 Live Sound Card, Wireless Bluetooth Audio Mixer, Podcast Audio Mixer with RGB Colorful Buttons, All-in-One Podcast DJ Device Live Broadcast Sound Card for PC Phone Karaoke Singing Gaming$36.99STAR RATING SCALE:1 -- Poor product; Waste of money at ANY price; Blatant lies in the original listing.2 -- Below average product; Something about it is a bit lacking; It could be conflicted specifications or errors in the original listing or that it was arrived with damage that was unlikely to have occurred during shipping and should have been caught in either the manufacturer's or seller's quality control.3 -- Average product; Meets expectations, perfectly serviceable, but does not do anything that sets it apart from similar products; Does not have some features that makes me say, "Wow, that's a neat feature".4 -- Above average product; Something about it sets it a bit above similar products on the market.5 -- Excellent product (or perhaps customer service); There is NO room for improvement whatsoever; NOTHING is perfect, so this rating *should* be EXTREMELY difficult to achieve.ǝuᴉʌ/ʇǝu.sɔ-ɥs.ʍʍʍ:ORDERED:2024-08-16:RECEIVED:2024-08-20:REVIEWED::PRELIM:2024-09-05:KWD:audio:AID:B0D8VVLD8T

Input Mixer
For starters this is a budget item - there are much more expensive ones out there. But WHAT is it? Well it's an input mixer. The title and description seem somewhat complicated.Problem is computers are designed to accept one input at any given moment - so you can't say, connect to microphones at once...or use the line in on your sound card along with the computer sounds. That's the problem this solves with some added features (like sound effects and bluetooth).Basically you set this as your audio device in the computer and then you can knob in different audio levels for various devices - the unit may have them labelled as particular things but any standard audio can come in through those...if it were a ham radio, an MP3 player, etc. The mics are limited to two because of how microphones work (ala low line input voltages) - an amplified mic could be used in any of these inputs. As you adjust the knobs you can set the sound levels to those you like.I took mine apart (so you don't have to; I got mine as a part of the vine review program; so I cannot return mine - but you use your device as you see fit) - I wanted to view the inputs plugs (the 3.5mm audio/headphone type jacks). See the device came with a 4 pin cable - TRRS (that stands for Tip, Ring, Ring, Shield). Normally a microphone (or a mono speaker) would have 2 pins; +pos and -neg. Most speakers use tip (L+), ring (R+), shield (common negative). Which I wanted to see if these plugs were TS, TRS, TRRS - and all are TRRS - which I'm not an audio guy so I'm unsure about why the mics would have 4 pins...even a stereo mic is is only TRS. So unsure about that at the time of typing. What does this mean - well it means you might need some TRRS to TRS adaptors. As well most headsets (headphones with microphone) have TRRS for L+, R+, mic+, shield/common neg. It ALSO means that you could creatively 'split' devices. As all this device does is permits multiple inputs and allows the output to mix them at varying levels. Also can add sounds/effects and some equalization. You can also plug TRS into TRRS and perhaps lose one function.Problem is - for me - may differ for you - I couldn't get any OUTPUT to where I wanted in the manner I needed. So I should say I am NOT a streamer - what I wanted was: a mixer to permit multiple inputs into the computer - so my headphone mic - a standing mic - and my mp3 player.I couldn't get output from the mixer to the computer by way of either the PCLIVE 'data' port - or the usb-c. I could get sound playing (output) from the headphones and monitor by plugging in headphones to either port...but didn't want to plug the computer in through the monitor TRS/TRRS connection - because that's got stuff plugged in.I couldn't get bluetooth to work.So all in all this was a bust for me - AND MY USAGE - yours may vary.Problem with a lot of computer stuff is you're unsure whether its the device in question, the computer, or some dumb thing that the programmers (windows) changed. Some of the stuff I tried - for your troubleshooting: was listening to recording device (via devices) - despite having the computers 'input' as F009 (this device) and my computer speakers as the output nothing was ever heard. So the 'data' output seems non-functioning.Couldn't get bluetooth working/connected - again might be a PC problem or a 'change' by MS that makes things not function right - tried to update drivers windows said all was up to date. The device is seemingly 'working' it powers up via cable...stays powered unplugged (there's a battery inside I was shocked (no pun intended) to learn when I opened it up - I did NOT realize it could function remote/mobile - that's a nice feature...the battery was labelled 3.7v (standard lithium ion 18650 and 800mA. I did not test battery lift...but there's a LOT of lights on this so I wouldn't expect a lot.I couldn't test the various 'sound changing elements' such as voice changer, pop, mc ktv , pirmal sound (half of those I don't even know what the heck they do or sound like because I couldn't get the device to output - or couldn't mix an input and listen to the output simultaneously.Do all the sound effects work? Sure they play through the headphone/monitor jack - but as I never got that far in my testing (as this won't meet my needs) - though I did listen to them through the headphones plugged into the back of the F009 - giggle dindin (really ding ding ding) song laughter cheer gunshot - really difficult to describe sounds, so I'll not try. Says it's got 16 sound effects but I only saw/found 10 ABCD and the 6 across the bottom. A=female young, hi pitched "I love it, you guys are so great." B=crow cawing 6 times. C=What?! (famous what by famed comic Dave Chappelle) D=Some sort soft jazz/pop clip about 2.5 seconds long. All in all it functions but it doesn't work for me.I try to be a vine reviewer that says more than 'dis gud' or 'dis no gud' - so there you go.I'm also always worried about vine reviews that just 'described the item' with no real testing. I cannot promise a device will, or will not, work for you. This one isn't going to work for my needs. Also the lights stay on all the time, and some features (when activated) stay flashing (would be a constant distraction in my eye line). These other vine reviews just 'described' the item with more words. I don't make recommendations and your money is yours to choose how to spend to suit your life, not mine.I DO FEEL this is a good value for the price - it does what it claims...and while I cannot PROVE those things didn't work for me because of MY EQUIP/SETUP then I'll not just blame the device - other features appear functioning just FINE - so it could be my configuration or my ignorance.Re: lighting - one thing I didn't like is the level indicators go blank after a few seconds so you cannot just glance over and see the settings - you have to move the knob slightly to redisplay the current position - they should stay on all the time so you can glance over. Some of them (like EQ) are all displayed on one level indicator (which is how they manage 8 knobs with 6 display levels)Did I get this for 'free' - KIND OF - I didn't have to pay for it - but will have to pay taxes on it (no free lunches huh) - DO have to write reviews - and cannot return items even if they're horrible (or non-functional). Thus far, my few vine items have been good. Know full well that all reviews are subjective based on the quality of the person reviewing. Some people send their eggs back if the cheese isn't melted quite right - others realize they're at a low quality restaurant and just enjoy the food. I buy products that tend to be budget and I never request a vine item I didn't NEED and wasn't considering buying for myself. Because let's be honest - money does matter - you have 1 mil in the bank you're more willing to lose a little experimenting. I am not; we usually just break even. Have given over 500+ reviews prior to being ASKED to join vine and I still review my regular purchases because it's consumers working together that help us weed the good products from the bad. I spend upwards of 2-3 hours on these reviews - considering packaging, instructions, and usage of the items - I'm definitely underpaid. But I was doing it before for 'free', and still doing it after joining vine 'for free' - so did I really get a product for free - or did a lot of time, effort, thought, and consideration go into these - plus the 30-60 minutes typing it all out - I'll let you decide. I'll tell you this though - no one buys my opinion - I'll tear it apart just as easily as give it praise - but do realize that cheap is rarely good and good is rarely cheap. If it does that which it claims that's a good start - there is ALWAYS a 'better' of everything. Knowing that I only request items I NEED may sway my bias a little but not because I got it without having to pay in money (just time and effort). Finally, I don't give recommendations - your shopping is your experience and not mine. I cannot anticipate your life, your needs, or your satisfaction with anything. All I can do is review from my perspective, my knowledge level, my expectations, and my usage cases. Good luck and take care.
