Switzerland Map (National Geographic Adventure Map, 3320)

It’s ok

Bought this to plan my next trip to Switzerland. High quality with a lot of detail about towns, roads, etc. Nice and big, too.

The map is also waterproof, easy to manipulate and tear proof. The map also has great information about the region as far as fun things to do and types of transportation info. I have several of these types of maps for different destinations because they are basic staple when planning and going on your trip.

Paper quality seems great and is supposed to hold up against moisture and tears...so we'll see. I plan on using it as my primary navigational tool for a couple weeks in Switzerland because my phone will have to stay in airplane mode while I am traveling to avoid huge data charges.My only gripe is that most Switzerland maps (this included) are split right down the middle of the country...which is where a lot of travelers spend most of their time. So I'll be flipping the map over and over as I navigate in and around Lucerne, Interlaken, Brienz, Berner Oberland, etc.I'd much rather have the map turned 90 degrees and have the entire country fit on one side of the map. Then stick the legend and other detail on the back side of the map. Seems too logical though.

The map is durable, but I just wish that the country of Switzerland was all on one side of the map instead of two.

This is a nice map that has a lot of information on it. Being a hiker, I love the contour lines. However, I do wish there were hiking trails on it. Switzerland has the best rail transport in the world, and I do feel this map does not portray the railways well enough.

Best map ever! Folds nicely, waterproof, great to take on travels.Everything one would need to know is indicated on map. Great buy!
