It fixed my sons laptop issue
My son mentioned to me that his laptop kept shutting off. After some investigation I determined the battery was toast. Bought 5his, followed some videos I found online, and whalla! All fixed. Now he can take it to class to take notes and not worry about finding a seat near a plug.

Works great. I replaced a worn out battery that turned off without warning.

Big Heat From Battery, not good longevity.
Bought two of these. Both charge fine. Both batteries get alarmingly hot from running (plugged in or not). Laptops are supposed to run 10hrs (conservatively) on stock OEM battery. These are 2 to 4 hr batteries. Need to recharge before lunchtime when using. Question longevity due to amount of heat it throws off. Enough heat where wouldn't set on my bare lap.

Not an official acer battery. Did not charge in my acer 5 nitro 54
Did not charge. Attempted multiple troubleshooting. Old battery charges fine. Reset pc. Hard reset pc and removed old battery drivers rebooted. Still won't charge. Battery likely defective. Attempted these steps multiple times. Old battery still charges fine. New one does not.

Quality is good and I've had no charging issues
Definitely a reasonable replacement for a failing OEM battery. I suspect it will hold up well over the remaining life of this laptop. Quality is good and I've had no charging issues.
