Cold Pressed Pure Bhringraj Hair Oil

I bought this for my mum as she has lost a lot of hair due to illness recently and this was recommended to her. She has only used it a few times so it is too early to say but she did like the way her hair felt so moisturised and soft.

I don't think this is bhringraj oil at all. It smells completely different from any bhringraj oil I have ever used before either in India or in the UK. It smells of tea tree and this is what I think it is.

I have long hair which gets a little oily at the roots but drier on the mid-lengths and ends. I normally find I need really intensive conditioner following shampooing as otherwise my hair can feel brittle and less manageable, but the roots tend to become greasy quickly. When I use bhringraj oil in the second shampoo (as recommended), my hair feels clean but not nearly as dry, so I can use a much lighter conditioner if needed. I also like to use the oil as a leave in conditioner, though I have to use it quite sparingly and just on the mid-lengths and ends. This oil is quite rich and a little goes a long way, making it very good value !

I am suprised by how this oil makes my hair feel. Usually I end up with dry brittle hair when I use light oils, but this was the oposite. My hair felt soft and moisturized. Will purchase again.

It's not good. After applying my crown is painful. Not recommended.

This product description is inaccurate and intentionally designed to mislead. There is no such thing as cold pressed bhringaraj oil!Bhringaraj oil is not made by pressing the oil out of the bhringaraj (eclipta alba) plant. It is made by boiling the plant or juice in coconut or sesame oil. So it is impossible to have a cold pressed oil. What would be useful for the consumer is to tell us what base oil was used and the ratio of bhringaraj juice to oil that was used to make this product. There's a site called ecliptaalba.com that is dedicated to the plant and it's benefits and nowhere is cold pressed bhringaraj oil mentioned.If the manufacturer has gone out of their way to write a misleading description to make the product more appealing it really makes me wonder about the quality of the base oil used and the actual concentration of bhringaraj in the product.
