How can I connect the thermal camera with the HIKMICRO Viewer?

1. Download the HIKMICRO Viewer app from the Play Store. 2. Enable OTG on your phone or tablet. 3. Plug in the camera and grant permission by clicking "OK". 4. Upgrade the camera to the latest version if needed.

Can the thermal camera see pipes and termites inside walls?

Thermal cameras can detect objects behind walls, ceilings, and floors based on temperature differences. This is typically the case. If the camera produces high-contrast images, check for signs of moisture and damage.

The device makes clicking sounds and the screen briefly freezes. Is it abnormal?

Calibration is a routine process that optimizes image quality and measurement accuracy. The camera briefly pauses and makes a "clicking" sound during calibration. This occurs more frequently during startup or in extreme temperatures.

Can I use an extension cable with an adapter?

Please do not combine the extension cable with an adapter, as it may cause connection failure.
