Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this particular skimmer basket because it stated that it was heavier, better quality than some of the other skimmer baskets.I am very happy with my purchase, even though I probably paid twice what I usually pay for a basket. I’m tired of buying skimmer baskets every few months because they did not hold up. Either the handle with break or if there were too many leaves, the basket would be sucked down into the skimmer and basically suctioned till it would be out of shape. I don’t have to worry with those things. It is so well-made and fits perfectly, so glad I finally got a reliable product.Works well:This skimmer basket will outlast other baskets.

The skimmer basket is well made and is made in the USA. It is weighted to keep it down when the pump goes off which is a good feature. I brought it for my friend’s pool and was going to buy another for me, it was that well made. It has a folding handle which is nice. BUT before I gave it to my friend I tried it in my pool to see if it fit. IT WAS TOO SMALL. It did not sit on the top ledge but went inside the skimmer and got stuck. Luckily I tried it when the pump was off. BEWARE. I really wish it fit my pool. I really liked it. But I am happy that I gave a good gift to my friend. But measure good before buying.

Very durable! This basket is made of a more solid material than traditional pool baskets. The handle is also very durable and is easily removed by angling each side and sliding the handle out. It’s like someone who owns a pool designed a basket that just works well. I would purchase again if this one ever needs to be replaced, but it feels like it will last for years. Great purchase.

SO MUCH BETTER than the basic plastic ones that came with our pool from the builder and what you can buy online. Our skimmer diameter is 1/8" larger than the diameter of the basket but it seats just fine. The weighted bottom, metal handle and thickness of the walls make this feel like a high-quality item that will last for many years.

Really high quality. A big upgrade from OEM or regular OEM replacement. It is weighted down so it just sinks down perfectly in my unit. I was a bit concerned at first that it wouldn't work well with a sock and that is somewhat true in that removing and putting back on the handle isn't trivial. However I found that since it is weighted down, I can just put the sock on with the handle down and have had no problems it staying in place but still being able to grab it without the handle and put it up. Highly recommended!

This pool basket is better than OEM. It has a sturdy handle and is heavy enough to not float. It captures so much more pool debris. After several other replacement baskets, this one is by far the best!

Super sturdy not like the normal plexiplastic POS. Works great, snug fit, bigger than expected which is good those other kinds like to take up unnecessary space. and stacking to put up the extra was a great choice in design. easy to store, stack, and pull out to reuse.Love it
