The Pai Skincare Marine Algae Dark Spot Serum is a lovely, refreshing serum that is best applied morning and night on a damp face before applying moisturiser, sunscreen or oil.The serum comes nicely presented in a box and in a pump action bottle for easy dispensing. It's a nice consistency and creamy white in colour. The ingredients are as listed in the product description, the main ones being vitamin C, marine algae and hyaluronic acid. It’s also vegan and cruelty free. It does have a very subtle fragrance to it. I can't quite put my finger on what the fragrance is exactly, but it is really light and pleasant.I find the serum absorbs beautifully into my skin, leaving it feeling super refreshed and with a lovely glow. I then follow with my facial sunscreen and moisturiser as the directions state is best to do.I don't have sensitive skin, so this isn't something personally I need to consider when selecting skincare products, but suffice to say, as is normal for me, I've suffered nothing at all in the way of reactions using this product.Results will vary from person to person, but for me personally, the use of this facial serum has been a positive experience for me.

I think this product is a little expensive but you can tell this is a good quality product from the texture and the way it absorbs nicely into the skin. My skin has changed over the years as to be expected. The product arrived nicely presented in the well protected box. It states Marine Algae Dark Spot Serum, Hyperpigmentation Treatment & Skin Brightener, with Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid which are all great ingredients for your skin. I use this under my moisturiser and my skin felt nourished and well moisturised all day.

An effective product but however I find it to be very pricy . Has a lovely citrus smell.

I have several pai products, all of which are high quality and beneficial to my skin.I have a few dark spots which don’t really worry me as they’re just a natural ageing sign and the least of my ageing problems… however, as a fan of pai products, I was very keen to see what this product did for me.I’ve only been using this for a short while and so I haven’t seen a very noticeable change in the dark spots but I can say that my skin feels so soft and smooth since using this. The fade forward lotion glides on effortlessly and seeps into my skin leaving no sticky or greasy residue. It feels comfortable and definitely brightens my complexion and a little of this product goes a long way!One of my favourite things about pai skincare is that the brand is cruelty free and organic and I’m happy to pay a little extra for that.For me, Pai is a trustworthy luxury brand and this fade forward cream is one of life’s little beauty regime pleasures that I intend to keep up, so therefore, will definitely be repurchasing in the future.

Although I don’t struggle with dark spots, I was drawn to this serum because of its Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid, which I hoped would help combat signs of ageing. The serum comes in a convenient pump-action bottle, making it easy to dispense just the right amount with minimal waste. The packaging aligns perfectly with other Pai products I've used, making it easily recognisable among my skincare collection. When applied, the serum feels incredibly soothing, and I’ve found that a little goes a long way. My skin feels soft, hydrated, and has a subtle glow after using it. I’m very happy with the results so far and will continue incorporating it into my daily skincare routine—no complaints!

Pros ✅I have a dark spot (commonly called an age spot!) on my brow which I really dislike. I’ve been using this serum, as described, for about 2 weeks and the spot is definitely looking less dark.The serum absorbs easily into my skin. This is an attractively presented dark spot serum by Pai. You get 30ml in an easy to dispense from pump bottle. The serum contains promising ingredients such as marine algae, VitC and hyaluronic acid and feels lovely and lightweight on the skin. I apply it am and pm on a clean, damp face and it sinks in effortlessly into my skin without leaving any greasy residue. It’s still early days but I think I did notice a difference in my overall complexion.
