Baggallini Crossbody Travel Bag 11x8.5 Lightweight Water-resistant Nylon Handbag

A perfect purse, minus the card slots. I’ve never had a Baggallini! This style is perfect. I ordered the charcoal and it has beautiful purple lining on the inside. I’ve only had it one day, but there are so many pockets, you can use them all, and they don’t make the bag look bulky. As other reviewers said, it’s not so flat that there is no width, this version has some width at the bottom and can stand up on its own. The charcoal nylon material has a shimmer to it even indoors abs outside it’s even more beautiful. This purse has a low key sophistication, like a fine charcoal suit, yet it’s casual enough to wipe down and carry with just shorts on. I do agree with other reviewers—only issue is the wristlet did not have card slots inside nor were there card slots inside the purse. But I love the wristlet, big enough for a little cash, a few cards, and even my smaller cell phone fits in it. I only need two credit cards and my ID. I didn’t worry about slots, abs there are two tiny pockets with zippers so I’m using those for my other cards that I don’t need all the time.

This has been a great purchase! For years I've had difficulty finding a purse I liked because like a crazy woman, I wanted pockets! When I first found this one I was a little apprehensive. I've only ever bought cheap purses before, but I was also super tired of them wearing out in about a year or so if I were lucky. I was so fed up I was finally willing to spend more to have a purse that lasted. What did I want besides pockets? I wanted it to look nice. It didn't have to be the latest fashion, but I wanted a bit of a timeless quality that would mean it looked good several years from now and not just in the moment. I wanted good, solid construction and quality materials that would hold up to use and occasional abuse. It also needed to be able to carry a lot without looking like it carried a lot. For me, this purse checked all of those boxes! With so many pockets I had no problem organizing the purse to hold what I wanted where I wanted so I could always find it quickly and easily. The material used surprised me the most because it looks really nice, but it's also very sturdy and I don't feel I have to worry about it if I need to set the purse down on the floor or ground. I was able to fit an amazing amount of meds and first aid items in here, along with other everyday essentials easily, and the purse doesn't appear to be bulging at the seams at all. I can't say that a mother of a small child could fit everything she needs into the purse because that would depend on what that mother carries. I think however most women could fit everything they want or need in this purse and be fine. My only regret is I didn't find Baggallini purses sooner!

Disclaimer first: I carry a lot of stuff. I have kids with allergies/sensitivities and type 1 diabetes. So I carry a lot of their stuff on me. If don't carry a lot of stuff - this bag would be GREAT. This bag has three main pockets. A zippered one that extends into the left edge of the strap, a zippered one that extends into the right edge of the strap, and the one formed between them. In my bag, I have one whole zippered compartment filled with Lactaid, pain relievers, spare contact lenses, glucagon injector, spare test strips, and insulin pen tips, allergy meds, etc. Pretty much half of Walgreens, but always seemingly the wrong half. The other zip compartment I filled with a notepad, checkbook, and a number of writing implements. Seriously this is where every pen in the house goes to die. In the middle compartment - and herein lies the rub - I really can't fit much. If you fill the other two compartments there is no room for the bag to expand really so that middle compartment is pretty tight. Keys (on a short pull-out strap), a tissue pack, mints, a spare phone battery and charging cords, and the included pull-out pouch that now holds my cash and a rubber-band full of cards. Baggalini - where did those wonderful card slots go??? Put some in the RFID pouch, please! There is no room for a real wallet in here. On the outside front of the bag are some nice useful organization pockets. I've got some small makeup items in the two zippable ones (though again, they do not expand and one is entirely filled by a standard pressed-powder compact). Behind them are some open pockets which are great for slipping the phone and sunglasses into. I can find them tactilely while driving without ever taking my eyes off the road so these are important features for me. On the back is another open, flat pocket which is really only useful for papers - receipts, directions, coupons, programs, etc. I love the light lining color, thoughtfulness of pocket design, and WASHABILITY of Baggalini bags, and this one in particular. I wish I had the organization ability of this one with the expandability of my old Baggalini EveryWhere bag, which washed up good as new (except for an inside ink stain) and will probably be in use again. I took my Crossover Crossbody on a trip (leaving half the medical stuff at home) and it was a little easier to manage, but if I could I would have a much roomier interior (I hope they widen the base in the next design) and I would love to be able to fit a spare blood sugar meter and/or insulin pen (and case) in there. They tried to keep the bag thin but the interior is really tight. I feel like I can really only fill one of the three main pockets and the other two are less useful.

I have appreciated Bagallini cross-body bags for some time; this is my third. The black zebra print is pretty -- a neutral but with a little more interest than the flat matte black. I like the zippered small pockets on the front which hold keys. Two deep pockets on the front lack a closure, but make a good place to store cellphone and mask. There are two large zippered pockets front and back, which I use for items that I don't use too often, like pen and makeup. The large central pocket is deep and pretty wide. It easily holds glass cases, a water bottle, a knitting project, etc. or similar large-ish items. One minor complaint is that the zippered money purse in this model of bag lacks credit card holders (just a plain pocket). I switched it out with the money purse from my previous Bagallini because I like the credit card holders so that I can confirm at a glance that I have all my id and cards. The bag is attractive when worn, sitting close to the hip. It holds everything I need to carry, but it is not really a large bag. It is lightweight, and I don't tire when carrying it for several hours. Baggallini bags can be put through the washer and air dryed, and they come out looking fresh and beautiful again. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Great bag I’d buy another one lightweight durable, very attractive goes with lots of outfits

This was just the size I was looking for to replace my other bag that I carried for at least two years. I can still use it but I wanted a new one that was not floppy like my old one because it was used as my sole purse. So many compartments to keep me organized. I love the three zippers in the front and the inside zipper it has plus the small pockets and the one for a phone. I put my readers and a little pack of Kleenex in that spot because I’m afraid I’ll knock my purse over when I’m out and lose my phone. Baggalini is a wonderful brand and I found one at Ross stores in this same shape so cheap. This purse was cheaper here than I could get at Baggalini website. I wanted this shape because I don’t like a wide purse. The one I bought from Baggalini is too narrow to carry what I need. I need one about 4-5 inches wide and Amazon came through for me. The size is great with a lot of storage for a small purse. It’s my favorite brand and style! The adjustable straps are nice to switch for however tall you are. I bought the black but would like to have several other colors to choose from as there are so many. Have the small crossbody that I got for my husband and he likes it for his billfold, readers, receipts and a snack when he makes his runs to the stores. You can’t go wrong with this brand and all the styles they have.

Great looking purse. Has lots of pockets and compartments. Love the color, but… the wristlet does NOT have any credit card slots as advertised. Very disappointed and will be returning.

Perfect bag! I use it daily, not just for travel. Very lightweight but sturdy, has many compartments and is easy to use. Strap is adjustable, too. It has an attached pouch for smaller items, I use it for credit cards. I will buy another color.

Five stars for the purse it’s absolutely lovely, but I had to take a star off because unfortunately it is not the colour I expected. The colour on the left is what the description of the purse is ‘flamingo’ which should be a peachy pink like the picture, what arrived was a ‘shocking pink’ like a birthday cake. I LOVE the purse but have to return it because I hate the color.

Love this company. The bag has so many pockets and I carry a lot of bits and each has a place. Well worth the money.

You can never go wrong with a Baggalini. Great light weight stylish hand bag.

I own two Baggallini bags now. I will be ordering more. The quality is excellent.
