The 16AWG 6FT Battery Charger Cable, SAE to SAE Terminal Quick Disconnect Harness, 2 Pin SAE Connectors Extension Cables Cord for Car, Motorcycle, Solar Panel is a handy, well made cable that makes using my lithium battery charger easier. The cable comes with molded on SAE connectors that are the same as the ones on my charger and adapters. It is a solid cable that should last for years of heavy use. The cable is made from quality wire with quality connectors and fuse block. SAE connectors are in universal use in the automotive world and this cable is an excellent example of how to make a good cable.

This was perfect to adapt my portable solar panel to my solar charge controller in my van. I snipped off the old solar connectors from my panel, and crimped on one end of this SAE wire on, which is compatible with my charge controller. Nice heavy wire and solid insulation.

This is a nice cable for adding some length to your setup, in my case between my solar panel out in the yard and the mobile power station I charge under the shady porch. This cable isn't very heavy gauge wire, but it's certainly enough for its modest length, and it has handy weather/dust cap covers for each end, which I appreciate since I am leaving it outside when unused.I measured the voltage directly from my solar panel at 24.2 volts under full sun, and then again with this cable and the result didn't change- 24.2 volts. This cable is quality and carried the current just fine without losing anything.That extra bit of footage added gives me the perfect amount of reach to keep my panel in the sun and my power station in the shade, so both are happy, and with no lost voltage or other issues I'm quite happy, as well! This cable is just what I needed and of great quality- 5-stars!

I ordered this to help run some power lines in our F250 directly from the battery to power some new USB plugs I installed in the dash. While I didn't end up using this cable, it looks and feels as solid as the other cables I've received in solar panel charger kits. Seems like it would work great for those and I may end up using it for something like that instead.

So I bought this to have a nice neat solution for my battery powered riding lawn mower which I charge off of solar panels on my garden shed with a small mppt boost controller. I purchased the two pieces this cable and the cable that has the terminal ends for the battery posts and wired them up to my charge controller for a nice neat convenient solution. I've been keeping my lawn mower charged this way the entire summer with no issues with a less than optimal wiring connection prior to this. I've been using these cables for a couple of weeks now and they are working fantastic

The media could not be loaded. How much power a electric wire can handle is dependent on how thick (gauge) it is and how long it is. This 6ft long, 16 gauge wire is perfect for transferring 10 Amps/120 Watts of power from your solar panel to your battery or other load. More power could be passed through it, but it'll begin to heat up above 20Amps/240 Watts.The cable itself seems well made and durable. The insulation has a good combination of flexibility and durability. The end connectors are properly made. I feel this is a well-made cable that will give you years of use.

This is the second SAE to SAE Terminal Battery Harness I've purchased (the first one under another brand), but this cable being reviewed here actually works without hassle. Unlike the other cable, the SAE ends work just fine with connecting between with the cable from my maintenance charger to the cable connected to the battery on my motorcycles. Quality and thickness of the wires are good. No complaints here! With two motorcycles in the garage, I needed the 6 feet extension. I'm ready for winter now!

First, I'm a product tester meaning I'm 100% critical. If you have a battery tender you know why this is so important. The leads on most are barely adequate for sitting the charger beside your mower or bike. With this extension you can put the charger in a protected area from weather or out of the way so you don't trip over it. Have a battery tender, you won't regret having this.
