Made installing tires using a Harbor Freight Manual Tire Changer as a base a breeze
This went over the new black Harbor Freight Manual Tire Changer without an issue. It worked great to help me remove and install my 18 inch tires. At that size they did fight me a little, and it being my first time changing them I had to figure out the kinks of using it (and figuring out that I had put it together backwards to start), but once all that was ironed out, it worked great.I highly recommend getting and using the steel spacer version, as it'll help to ensure you don't mar the wheels as you put rotational force on it in case it slips.

Manual tire changing is hard enough, it makes it so much easier
I got 4 tires off with this Duckbill mod. I've never manually taken off tires before and to be truthful the first 2 was difficult, but after the 2nd I got the hang of it and 3rd and 4th was a breeze. There is a learning curve so just be patient, you will figure it out as you go along. Removal is done. This weekend I will be mounting on which looks a lot easier especially not having to deal with bead breaking. This gadget is pretty strong. I've put all my weight onto it and held up fine. Now that I know what I'm doing I probably will never have to use that much force as I initially did. Also want to mention the black clamps don't need to be torqued down too much, by hand is fine it's now going anywhere. I think lots of people wrenched it down so that why the welding blew out, really no need. Additionally, the little black handles can get in the way of the tire after tightened, but there is a button that you press which lets you swivel the handle up out of the way without overtightening or loosening, brilliant.

It works to not damage nice wheels
I can’t give this for five stars because there are a few flaws but I guess it’s made to fit multiple different manual tire machines. So it takes a marginal at best tire machine and makes it slightly above marginal. It is a game changer if you have rims that you don’t want to get scratched. Tire spoons are fine for old farm equipment etc. but if you have nice aluminum wheels on your car etc. this does vastly reduce the chance of doing any damage to those wheels. It is pretty easy to operate surprisingly does not require much force for normal tires. I don’t imagine that this would be a viable option for extremely low profile like these kids have nowadays, but for your average Chevy, or dodge or ford or Other car with normal tires that should work fine as an add-on to your existing tire machine. The build quality is typical for the land that it comes from. But it works.

Nice sturdy tool, great price.
This duckbill tire changer upgrade for Harbor Freight tire changer is actually better quality than the tire changer itself which is surprisingly well made for the price. It fit the tire changer nicely and was a great price and prompt shipping. However, as soon as it was handed off to USPS it went down hill from there. Unexplained delays and delivery dates changed. This is nothing new for the post office. I truly wish Amazon would quit using the post office for delivery.

Cracked Duck head
The duck head cracked after a single use. It is a smaller duck head than the individual duck heads sold on amazon. The mounting holes are on 2 3/4" centers. Individual duck heads sold on amazon have mounting holes on 3 1/8" centers. The vendor refuses to send me a replacement. They suck.

Harbor Freight (red) upgrade!
Perfect fit for my RED Harbor Freight manual tire changer. I doubt there is a difference from the black one but just a FYI. Build quality is quite good and the handles on the locking bolts seem nice. The duck head seems good, and not like cheap black plastic ones. I own a similar duck head as well so Im familiar. The included cone fits great and I also ordered a 4in cone which fit is equal. I see no reason for bearing versions as this will do just fine with quicker set up and less maintenance. $50 cant beat the price. Happy.

Quality control issues exist.
The rim contact side of the duckhead has raised ridges to protect the rims from making contact with the bolts, where one of those ridges was not fully formed, leaving it too shallow, as though the injection mold did not have enough nylon plastic to fill out the mold. So, to avoid scratched rims, I recessed the head of the bolts into the nylon plastic, to teraform it by heating the head of the bolts. With that modification, now there is no concern of scratching the finish on my alloy rims. This version duplicates the location of the hold down shaft bolts to the side (like Lucid's) so there is no longer interference with the vertical adjustment pipe. There is interferece with using a tire iron pry bar, to pull the edge of the tire up onto the Duckhead, where that lock down bolt on the side has to be removed to press the pry down level to the face of the rim, as that lockdown bolt an dprotruding handle block a pry bar. A noticeable problem is that the Welds of both nuts for the lock down shaft bolts have a welders blow thru hole on one, and each nut has only 3 small tack welds and there was weld splatter. For those reasons, it gets only 3 Stars. The paint on the round spin pipe was rough and you can see through the paint. If only someone cared about the quality of work they do, I can see this being an easy 5 stars, but they didn't.
