Works well has stopped my cat scratching the bed

Bought this to protect a new large, modern styled Chenille-style covered L-shaped sofa, specifically as it was in a new house and the cats would be going through a considerable change of environment. Sofa base/back is very square and covering is not of the baggy/loose style. Bought this particular product as it offered a wider width and longer length (sofa is 3x x 2m). Yes it is thick, but am wondering if it's too thick? Not very stretchy (in the way car-film is) and unfortunately hasn't stayed in place for as much as week. Was impractical to cover the back in one piece, so used smaller panels, so the weight of a 3m strip isn't a factor.

I haven't used it yet, hope it works.

Ordered to safeguard some furniture when we were cat sitting my mother in laws cat.Decent size roll so we only needed to order one. The backing is very sticky so was easy to apply and it stayed in place well and served its purpose wellNot sure from an appearance perspective that I'd want to leave up long term but maybe that's a trade off to have a scratch free couch!

This is a pretty good product, and certainly anything that can help protect sofas etc from cat scratching is good. It is a decent size, strength, and does adhere well, and so to that end it does the job.The only concern with this, is that the blighter will just find somewhere else (another favourite is mattresses etc; so you may find yourself wrapping the whole house in the tape! In many respects though, that’s neither here nor there, and if you can at least protect the sofas!Overall a good product, well-designed and functional. It doesn’t exactly enhance the aesthetics of the sofas, but it’s better than the arms etc being torn to shreds!I hope that you have found this helpful.
