6 months usage and itโs performing very well. Strong performance grinding solids and pushing the waste up and out. Boise is acceptable - don't have a baseline to what is โquietโ. Easy to install, but heavy and I hope this translates to reliability and quality. So far getting back peace of mind.

Hard to see it as more than a mid pack, run of the mill unit.
Used as a continuous duty, septic tank pump--It can foul and require a garden hose back feed to clear it. This was a temporary, nontypical scenario--but voluminous, high pressure, water was always adjacent to assist it. Unfair example? Perhaps... but, if I'm going to hand-dig and plumb a sump and pump beneath the house, I only want to do it once. For me, I will spend top dollar for the very best unit I can find. This pump falls short of that. I got what I paid for, and that's not a complaint.

Poor design leads to easy breakage. No customer service.
This pump has been in service for 3 months. The float switch broke off under normal use. It slides up and down along a shaft, which, incredibly, is a narrow plastic bar. How such a flimsy part is used in a heavy-duty machine is beyond belief. I've contacted the manufacturer to request a replacement and have received no response.
