12V LiFePO4 Automotive car Battery NEW (SD-12V6-1)

The gate is used about 4 to 6 times daily, and the battery has consistently provided enough power without any issues. I have 23 trail cameras--all converted to external batteries. Originally the batteries were lead acid and hauling out enough to set up 23 cameras (on foot with a backpack over "hill and dale") is a real back breaker, believe me! I am slowly replacing those heavy batteries with newer lithium batteries like this one, and it makes a world of difference. So far they hold a charge for an impressive amount of time. I have had a camera on this one for a month and so far it is still at full charge. Another, similar lithium battery is still going strong after 3-1/2 months and I'm hoping this one will work as long. I will update if it doesn't.

Of course I took it apart for you ;) - It arrived with nearly a full charge at 13.19 Volts. - I cut it open to find 4 LiFePOH cells in series, correct for a 12V battery of this chemistry - The cells are held in place and protected from impact with expanding foam on 3 sides - It does have an integrated BMS I used it for an afternoon to power a QRP (low power) ham radio and it outlasted the couple of hours I could stand being in the summer sun. Overall I don't have any complaints - I think it's a reasonable value for its uses. I'm going to reserve 1 star for now, because I can't verify the "2000+ cycles" or its true capacity with only a couple weeks of use.

I had built a to-go box for my HAM radio. Problem the kit was heavy do to the sealed lead acid battery I powered it with. I replaced it with this lithium battery. What a difference! Much lighter, easier to carry, and because of the smaller size I have more room to carry extrat cables and connecters for my various antennas. I am slowly replacing all my lead acid batteries for lithium. Better batteries, charge more quickly, and you get a lot more charge cycles. This battery, for the price and power, was a great deal.

Arrived with 0% SOC even after waking it up - poor QC Voltage was 10V even after applying a charge and waking it up (1.2V prior to wake up) Delivery times are not as promised, way too slow. It did eventually take a full charge to 13.33 volts, but it lost 50% of it's charge over 1 week with no use and nothing connected. Returning.

This is really worth the money that I paid for it. I have a project that I'm going to be using this for the battery. Life is excellent for what it is. I didn't expect it to do a whole lot but it does hold a great charge. It's fast. It also discharges fast. I'm happy with it. This will work out great for one of my lanterns that I have fit. It fits perfectly in the little box that I made for my lantern and it's very functional. You can use it for anything

I chose this to replace my trailer break away battery. It fits perfect with the right connections. It came with 13.4v so it was mostly charged on arrival. I currently have it on a trickle charger until I actualy need to use the trailer. Being Lithium it should last quite a while (though my regular battery did last quite a while as well). I made the mistake with my original battery by not taking care of it while the trailer sat during periods of no use. The battery I just replaced I was a little better and it lasted twice as the first. I know better now, and will take better care of this one, even though this one is Lithium and should last a lot better just sitting.
