Lovely book that was written to accompany the making herself up exhibition. Very comprehensive and informative a lovely book for any Frida fan and a lovely book for a foyer or coffee table to look over.Good for inspiration for female artists and interesting read into the feminist agenda and unique character of Frida Kahlo.

Lovely book
I missed the Frida Kahlo exhibition so I bought this book instead. It is well written with beautiful pictures of her items, paintings and photographs. It gives an insight into her life, her work and the items she possessed, which includes her dresses, jewellery, corsets and makeup. Well worth buying.

Amazing and very thorough
This is the guide to the current exhibition at the V&A which I cannot recommend visiting enough - I loved it because it revealed so much more about Kahlo's life, her process and her art. I came away even in more in awe of her than ever before. The guide is a superb accompaniment to the show with pictures and commentary to all the artefacts. Brilliant.

Gorgeous book.Really worth buying, could be a great gift.
Could be a great gift but I don’t like anyone enough to part with it. Kahlo is an amazing artist, really one of the 20th century greats. It’s a must if you are a Kahlo fan.

Absolutely Fantastic!
Lots of amazing quality images of Krida's recently "discovered" wardrobe after having been locked away for years after her death as she requested. Gorgeous book, beautifully put together! This might be the BEST book to date for any Frida fan. Although I must point out that it did not have all of her artworks in it but selective few. There are already several books out with just her artwork. THIS one is mostly about her life, her eccentric wardrobe, inspirations.
