BKC FK184 9' Single Sit On Top Fishing Kayak W/ Seat and Paddle Included Solo Sit-On-Top Angler Kayak

A real bargain for a quality kayak. Despite it's 9 foot length, it's width makes it remarkably stable in the water. I've used this at our place in Pensacola (Perdido Key), both on the bay side and ocean side. Two trips off shore thus far, two trips on the intercoastal side, and no issues at all. I love it and would highly recommend it. Comparison wise, would favorably compare it to the Vibe Skipjack kayak. Features on it are excellent, rod holders, paddle is good, scupper plugs are excellent. Seat is comfy, no worries. It comes with all the bells and whistles you'll want. I had a bit of an issue with the shipping getting here, but it turned out to be the trucking/shipping company, not the seller. Once that was worked through, it arrived quickly, intact, and no damage. Super well packed.

I have been using my kayak for a couple of summers now and wanted to tell how much I love it. I am a grandma in my 60's and this kayak fits in my van that has the seats that fold into the floor. I do have to move the passenger front seat forward and set the kayak at an angle, but it fits perfect in the back of my van. I am able to lift it into the back of the van and slide it in with no help. At the lake I pull it through the grassy areas and avoid the boat ramps as I can not carry it. Having it in my van I always have it when I want to fish after work for a couple of hours. It is great on the water, super stable and has lots of rod holders and storage and love the blue color. I did upgrade the seat and can sit for hours with comfort.

This yak gets you out into the middle of the lake! Need I say more? My husband is 50 and has no probably lifting it onto the top of our Jeep. It will fit in the Jeep if you lay all the seats down and take it to the dash. He didn't find it stable enough to stand on. Rod holders work well, the seat was comfortable-even after 4 hrs, oars worked fine. He made pretty good time while paddling. For the length that it is, it paddles pretty straight. It drifts quite a bit, so you might want a small boat anchor.Something good to know...it's hard to hide if it's a gift.

I was told my kayak would be delivered on the 18th and that I would be getting a call 30 min prior to delivery. I got it today. I sure am glad my boyfriend was home to receive it as I was told it wouldn't be left without someone to release it to. Not to mention, after unwrapping the kayak, I found that it must have gotten some rough treatment as there is a large bend in the front of it, as well as a hole in the bottom side of the bend. I am very disappointed in the shape of a product that I invested so much money into.

I got this kayak for my 16-year old. It is light, very maneuverable, and has a comfortable seat. Easy to transport and comes with everything you need to get out on the water and enjoy it. Being slightly shorter, it does take time to keep it in a straight line, especially for a 16-year old who easily overpowers it. It is also a bit pricey, so if you can find a deal it would make it a better value.After having this kayak for a while, I suggest this for a shorter or a smaller person. While very stable and highly maneuverable, it is easy to overpower due to its shorter length. Definitely not for someone looking for any sort of speed or long trips. If I could get this in 10' - 12', it would be perfect.

missing paddle and seat otherwise ok

Ok, first off, the kayak I received did not look like the one in the picture. The color was the same, (I got the blue and white one), but the dry storage in the middle is a rectangle not a circle and the foot section is adjustable (not like the one in the picture). I like what I received sooo much better than the original pic! The rectangle dry storage fits 4 beers and and ice pack perfectly. The seat is way better than what was pictured too. It comes with a removable lawn chair style seat that is super comfortable and adjusts easily. I store my kayal on a rac at my neighborhood boat ramp, so being able to remove the seat and store it where it is not out in the weather is great. It's a little awkward to lift and carry, but I am able to lift it up into a kayak rack that is above my head by myself. (I'm 5' 8" and 1 40lbs female for reference). I take this kayak out every chance I get!

This is the perfect Kayak for me! I'm a 61 year old female and it was easy to get in and out of!! The kayak steers easily and is light enough to load in the back of my truck! After lots of research I think the price was fair. I could have gotten something cheaper but I think this kayak is far more stable and durable. This Kayak came ahead of the scheduled time which was awesome! I would highly recommend this kayak. I plan to let my older grandkids use this kayak, under supervision of course. The seat is very comfortable also!
