I live in a small apartment in NYC and when I first got my Creami was shocked at how loud it was. I rarely used it because I didn't want to bother my neighbors. I ordered this sound shield hoping it would somewhat reduce the noise of the machine and was shocked at how much sound it blocked. It really does block out the majority of the noise! I'm now not worried at all about my neighbors being bothered by the Creami running (or even knowing that it's on!) This is definitely worth it.

I live in an apartment and own a Ninja Creami Deluxe and a Vitamix Venturist Pro blender. Both are loud as all get out, especially the Vitamix. I've looked at a specific Vitamix enclosure, but it's about $250. I'm sure it's worth it, but it's an expense I'm not ready for at the moment. I was surprised when I found this cover. I hoped something like it existed and I was happy to find that it was.I tested it out on both appliances and was astounded the difference it made. Even lifting it up slightly when the Vitamix is running at top speed, the sound is loud, but once this cover is fully over it, the difference is substantial. Enough so that I can run the blender without worry of waking the dead or neighbors. I didn't expect silence, just significant sound deadening. This cover does it, and all for less than $100!Keep in mind, not all Vitamix blenders will work with this (specifically those with the tall, slender container). It fits perfectly for the low-profile Ascent series 64 oz. container mine came with. There's plenty of room between the blender base and the edges of the cover. I couldn't be more pleased with this!Yes, this cover is big. It's supposed to be, but I had no problem finding a place to store it until needed. I highly recommend this sound reducing blender cover. It's exactly what I was looking for, exactly what I was wanting to accomplish, and at a price I can live with.

Everyone who has a creami knows how loud it is. This cover cuts the noise in half. Still kinda loud but not bad. I tried creating an insulated box cover, but it just didn't work. This does. If you can bear the noise, then this would be a waste of money. I couldn't, so it was worth it for me, although I do think it is very expensive, that's why I knocked off a star.

It's big but it does store on top of the Ninja Creami. The amount of noise is night and day. The closest description I can come up with is like closing the door on it. You go from jet engine level noise to something you could have a reasonable conversation over. I live in a condo and I was concerned about the noise of the Creami and being a horrible neighbor. This solves that problem. Putting a dish drying mat under it all helps with vibration noise.

As a mom of two who is looking for healthier options, I use my ninja creami and my ninja blender all the time. This cover not only makes the creami quieter, it works amazing on my blender too! No more worrying about waking the babies and still able to have my smoothies in the morning.It fits my creami with ease, as well as my blender with room. It hasn't gotten dirty yet but would wipe down easily! As far as price, I know this seems expensive but when I say it is so worth it in my opinion to make things quieter, it really is!The only downside is it doesn't fit under my cabinets over the appliances. But that wasn't a deal breaker for me. I store it on the top of my cabinets and grab it when needed.

I purchased this for my Beast blender, which makes fantastic smoothies, but it was so loud that I had to go to the other side of the house, close a door, and bring the dogs with me. It's a bulky apparatus. However, it's extremely effective. The decibel level peaked at 70dB with the cover on, and we were able to hold a normal conversation. Save your hearing and sanity, and get it!
