This attractive dawn to dusk porch lamp arrived today and I managed to remove the old lamp and install this in less than 15 minutes.. it fit into the old fixture without any adjustment needed. It has a self test where it comes on in daytime light for a few seconds they turns off. Alternatively, you can cover the sensor and it will come on. The instructions were brief and clear but I did not need them. Because it’s a dawn to dusk light, there is no motion detection. Also, It’s not dimmable which is normal and seems to be very well made. I strongly recommend an led type bulb to prevent this getting hot which might affect the sensor I strongly recommend this if you need this type and style of porch light. A real bargain at the price!

Beautiful well designed lamps that are easy to install and have a very nice outward appearance. The price reflects the quality. They are not expensive, but they are not made well. The frames of the glass panels were uneven on one of my two lights creating the illusion that the light was on an angle and not level. In fact, it was the back bar on the bottom of panel that was slanted downward on one side, creating an angle that looked odd when looking at the light from from the front. They do work, although the sensor is not easy to activate and be aware that the lightbulbs cannot be too long because the depth of the Light is not very deep. I highly recommend recommended in Edison bulb, but keep them to the Smoller side.
