It probably wasn't intended for use with a battery plate but it was able to deliver enough power to the swit cm55 c (I'll check later if the camera can be powered from it). Though I don't think the grooves on the side are made very precisely since it was unable to fit in the plate until I used a pair of pliers to break a 2 cm edge piece from each side.EDIT...I tested it with a multi meter and the output was too high. It works but I don't want to damage my equipment.

Had to get this to allow me to use my Canon 70d as a webcam for long zoom meetings at the battery only lasted me 40-60 mins. Got this as I couldn't find the official canon one and it works perfectly, allows me to use my canon camera for extended periods of time in zoom without worry of my battery failing.
