Planet Zoo: Console Edition - PlayStation 5

Really really cool game!

Love this game!

It is a really awesome zoo simulator. So much to do and create. However if you want the best experience with sandbox mode, you really have to invest in the DLC expansions, which are rather affordable.

Bought this for my grandson. He said it was good but some of the controls were a little confusing.

I was torn between three and four stars because, if I'm writing for planet zoo lovers contemplating the console edition, it's three. For people new to planet zoo, it's four, due to some annoyances arising from playing a complex construction game designed for computer on a console. Planet zoo itself, as a game, is really fabulous and engaging. If you're a person who'd get joy by building detailed environments for virtual animals, then watch them realistically frolic in the waterfall you built them, for example, or watch your gorillas clamber over the castle ruins you painstakingly constructed stone by stone in their habitat, you're like me - and you'd adore it. The console edition translates keyboard controls to console with the usual problem that the sticks are more difficult to maneuver with precision, and some of the labeling is almost impossible to read from couch to big-screen living room distance. This happens in a lot of games translated to console and, though I'm not a programmer, seems like a thing that should be easily fixed. Nevertheless, the game on console or laptop is immersive, with beautifully realistic graphics, and lots of gorgeous ANIMALS!!!!

My friend had this for pc, and my daughter fell in love(our pc is definitely not compatible for gaming..). So we were thrilled about this console edition! At first I was worried about the complexity of navigating the controls, but after the tutorial and hopping right into it, it became very easy, second nature really. Not hard at all, even for my 7yr old. Myself and my kids enjoy it

Esse jogo é muito top, pra quem gosta desse tipo de jogo vale a pena, chegou super rápido, problema q acho q jogaram no transporte e o cd veio solto na embalagem mas nao danificou nada.

The game itself is really great, graphics and features are incredible. However, they give you the ability to grid and make blueprints, then they give you such a small piece limit! Honestly I was done with this game when I realize you can’t scale your zoo at all. The piece limits on the console are so minuscule!! Come on, don’t give me all the capabilities and ease to scale, then make it physically impossible to do so. I get that they do this to keep it from crashing, but it honestly ruined the nostalgia. The piece limit is so small you can only have 10 nice exhibits in a single zoo.
