It says here for household use, but in comments some say they taken a bath 🙄🙃 as anyone also purchase to use in shower?

is this suitable for vegetarian/vegans, or does it contain sodium tallowate, an animal fat based lye please?

I can not really answer your question, I have used it for years, had no problems with it, It was used up to a few years ago in hospitals, it is one of the best antibacterial soaps around. It was banned be the EU because it contained Phenol . I do not think it uses animal fats, it would say so on the package.. good luck. give it a try.
