Great for helping wound healing!
I have a lovely but accident prone rescue greyhound. This product has been so useful in promoting wound healing.We had a tail tip injury (a little blood goes a long way - the white walls and doors in our hall looked like a massacre had occurred...). The tip of the tail required amputation as it failed to heal on its own (I did not use the honey on the initial wound as I did not know about it). After the surgery, the healing process was pretty slow. The vet suggested trying medical honey. I used to put a small amount of the honey on some woven cotton gauze (the pure cotton type is still 'breathable' ) and surround the wound. Healing seemed much faster with the honey than before using it.Also used the same technique when the dog split the web of skin between his toes - again healed very quickly.Will definitely use again with other wounds - which we will no doubt encounter in the future.....

Great product
I used this product to heal an old wound that my cat had decided to rekindle. The wound had gone yellow and green due to his constant licking so it was quite nasty, over the years we have had trips to the vets and the last time I took one of my pets to the vet they used this product to heal a foot pad injury so i thought i would try it for the cat. I put the cone on him and slathered plenty on his wound. I did this for about 2 weeks. kept him in with the cone on and Manuka honey daily and it was scabing over within a week and all signs of any infection gone.

Our dog has a post operative wound that keeps opening up, have tried every thing else.that the vet has suggested, but in a week the wound is smaller and tissue looks healthier.Will keep on with it.

Bought this because our bulldog had infection of op so pasted on his leg under dressing..infection lowly disappeared.. And cleaned up nicely..dont know if it was hony or not but wouldn't have liked to take chance for that price..nothing to lose..will use again if required
