Organic Athina Oregano Oil, 100% essential oregano vulgare oil from Greece, 80% Carvacrol, 1 X 10 ml

Tried a few different makes most at least twice the price of this one so I'm happy to report this is easily of equal quality and not in any way inferior despite the much lower price tag. The box and product info leaflet all depict a quality product that's well and ethically made and not skimped on production costs. All in all I'm happy to say this seems one of the rare times you get a quality organically produced effective product that is exactly as described and of the same standard as makes twice its price point.I only leave reviews if v happy or v disappointed and delighted this is the former. I used it for a nasty toe nail infection that prescription meds have failed to help and for these nasty weird warty things that have appeared on the body of my 14year old Yorkshire terrier. According to the vet their a side effect of getting old and can't be treated but having wondered if, being a virus, they'd respond to oil of oregano I tried diluting 1 drop in few drops of coconut oil and applying with a cotton bud cpl times a day. Although it's a petrochemical product which wldnt usually use I also apply a little vasaline to the skin at the base and surrounding the warts to avoid making the healthy skin sore. I wasn't diluting it enough at 1st and this really is a potent product so it was making the surrounding skin sore at 1st. However after diluting properly and using a protective barrier cream on the surrounding skin I was stunned to see within few days the nasty nobbly cauliflower looking pink warts turning black around the edges and going crusty and dropping off. Bare in mind I've had 3 vets tell me nothing cld be done about them. It really is best to play it on the cautious side and go slow and steady by diluting at least 1 drop ooo to 5 drop coconut oil and to not get overly enthusiastic by applying it neat or more concentrated as it will really irritate your pet (who after all your trying to help). Slow n steady over few wks will cause the pink fleshy wart to turn black and drop of. I do however apply it neat to the nasty toe nail fungus I had for 7 years n which just got worse despite weekly applications of the stuff from gp. Apply after bath at night (it's got a v pungent smell which makes it not something you'd apply after morning shower on way to work), either file down&flat the infected nail or clip away as much as possible depending on the severity. Either way u want to sand down the surface of the nail not just the free edge as thar way the oil can penatrate to the site of the infection easier. Apply 1 or 2 drops of this oil and then let it soak into the nail bed. Within 30 min you'll see a change as it starts to draw up to the surface. Ideally u want to try and clip away as much of the damaged infected nail as u comfortably can and then try and scrape out as much of the now soft fungus from under the nail without hurting it. Then apply another drop of 2,let it soak in then put on some clean thick cotton socks and let it work over night. If u wake up during night and decide to apply an extra drop or 2 all the better. Do this every night untilyou have been able to cut away the dead damaged nail and cleared it completely from the nail bed. Keep filling down the nail surface to make the nail as thin as possible and so the oil can penetrant to the site of the infection on the nail bed. You've got to keep at it and not let up until it totally gone, n even then keep applying a single drop at night for a week to make sure there's none hiding.... Sneaky bugger that this stuff is. Yes it's a pain but trust me, as someone who messed about for a full 7 years with the prescription stuff only to see it getting slowly worse for the sake of a few wks of nightly application this is by far the faster, not to mention more satisfying route. You can literally see it improve by the day...and all with any of the suspect nasty ingredients in the prescription version. Mine was particularly bad the 1st time i treated it after being there 7 years but within wks I was able to eradicate It and then clip away the damaged nail allowing clean healthy nail to grow bk. Unfortunately 9mths later I wore a pair of shoes I'd not worn for some time and got infected again. This time I bypassed the stuff from gp and just used this oil. Within a wk I'm clear again. This time I'll remember to throw away old shoes that cover toes.Just like to add Im totally unconnected to the comp and aren't being paid for this positive review. Hi there. I have bought this product several times (like 10 or so) and i am VERY satisfied with it, so im gonna make some comments.1. Definitely pure, better quality than others. This oregano oil is super strong. this is definitely a good thing but also means you must be careful. Do not touch it with your skin (if so, apply water fast). Also, make sure you use a carrier oil (in my case, olive/coconut). Using a carrier oil is essential because as you know, oil doesn't mix with water/sugar etc. You need another oil to dilute this one on it. Make sure you can drink water available in case it touches your throat. It wont kill you, but it can be spicy for a good 10 minutes.2. Effects: This is crazy. As soon as you take it, you will feel better, like more energized (it kills fungi and other nasty stuff that kills your vitality). If you actually take big doses as I do, after 3 days you will see gut bacteria floating with your stools :) Now, this is both a good and a bad thing because you will be killing good bacteria as well. That means that THE SECRET to use oregano oil is to always take it with probiotics. You can also keep it under your tongue (again, with a carrier oil). Do oil pulling with it. I also use it quite successfully when I feel I am getting a throat infection. What I do is to just allow it to stay for a few seconds on my throat. This works wonders.3. The company: Im writing this review, which I never did, because I had an issue with the deliver of the product couple of times. The company's response? They refunded the money, and are sending it again for free WITH a pack of soft gels. AMAZING customer service.If you are considering buying oregano oil, this one will 100% deliver results.

Very strong. Peefect. Compared to natures answer oregano oil on amazon this is definitely more powerful stuff. I use it with coconut oil pulling mouthwash and also in my tea. One to two drops. Burning sensation if you dont dilute. Despite that i prefer this as i can tailor the dilution to my own liking rather than buying pre mixed solutions.The company offers good packaging and contact info. Looks professional and inspires confidence in the product.Very happy with this purchase. Plus i received a bonus 60 softgel capsules with this order. Which im thinking of buying more of in future.I purchased for the antibiotic antifungal and antiviral benefits of this product. if you add it to other stuff like berberine, nac, abscorbic powder, allicin and coconut oil you would have the perfect otc alternative to antibiotics/antifungals. however this stufc on its own is also quite effective.
