This project went well. Works on any size drawer. Comes with 2 drill bits. Easy to use.

This jig did the trick. I first bought a more expensive, more elaborate jig and it installed all of the handles crooked. I sent it back and bought this one. All installs were straight and it worked for both drawers and handles. A very sturdy and precise jig. Good value for the money.

I did some closet cabinet door handles in the past. I did it freehand, and it was pretty tedious, and filled with some worry as I was just measuring out distance and drilling the holes. This tool would have been a welcome addition. The way it works is you get your handle you want to drill holes for and put the screw holes of the handle lined up with the pointed looking 'spikes' on the top. You space those evenly apart from the center, then lock them in place. You know have a jig that has the exact size distanced out for your cabinet handle. You can then use the flat face of the cross to line up with the center of where you want to do it, then set it in place. There are holes where you will drill, and it comes with an extended pencil for marking. You could just drill a pilot hole through the holes of this jig, but you could also just mark it and then drill it after.The main thing to keep in mind is we got some 5" handles, and that is pretty much the maximum size of this one. If you're going to be using handles with larger screw holes needed, you would need a larger jig than this one.

This is a very well made item, but in terms of functionality it's very limiting. A 5" max size is going to make this useless for a lot of pulls, including the ones I went to set the other day with this for the first time. Left right offset is also a bit small if you are ever mounting pulls center of a drawer or door panel. If you are just doing door knobs on the edge of a rail or style, this will work. But for many larger modern pulls and correct placement this will not get the job done. build quality is great, but a pencil, square, and tape measure are a better tool here.

This jig seriously makes life easy when doing lots of handles. The plastic washer on the center guide is NOT thick enough to tighten the center knob so we had to add a second washer so the height guide would stay. The ruler measurement's are just a hair shy of the posts you can use as a quick guide so after adjusting it (after having to drill the first whole a little bigger) was perfect.
