This is an excellent hairbrush! It's firm and combs through the hair right up to the scalp which stimulats the circulation! I have fine hair, but a little wavy. I definitely recommend this hairbrush!

I also use it in the shower to help distribute my conditioner evenly. The bristles are extremely sturdy and do not cut into my head and it easily glides through my hair, both wet and dry. I also like that the handle is strong and fits my small hands really well. I also love that it comes with its very own comb to use to clean out the hair from the bristles. That's a very nice addition to the item as it really does help clean the brush out. Love this brush and will be purchasing for some gifts.

I have thick, waist length, coarse hair soni was super excited about ordering the boar hair brush! While I don't think it is a bad brush, I was a little disappointment using it on my hair. I wish the bristles were longer to feeling like it is actually going through my hair rather than superficially hitting the top layer. It is a quality brush made of wood. It's also a great size and easy and comfortable to hold. The bristles are the perfect texture. Overall, it just a beautiful looking brush. I think it would work great for someone that has medium thick hair to thinner hair. It just didn't cut it with mine.
