Perfect fit and helps keep my counter a little cleaner
Fit my KitchenAid 5 qt perfect! No more making messes when adding ingredients to my mixer! Seems of decent quality and should last as long as you don't drop it on the floor. Not much else to say about this item.

Awkward to Use
I love the idea of a splatter guard for my mixer, but these guards/lids have some drawbacks. You have to put one on before inserting the beater (or hook or whisk) attachment, then lower the mixer head and push the lid down on the bowl, which isn't a big deal. But then when you want to scrape the sides of the bowl, add additional ingredients or scrape the beater attachment you have to remove this lid, tilt the head back then use one hand to hold this lid up and out of the way (and you can only move it up towards the mixer body), one hand to hold your spatula, and one hand to turn the mixer bowl. You HAVE to hold this lid up out of the way to do anything in the bowl, which just leaves you with one hand free to do it.
