Cash hearts Mollie <3
In love, that's what I am. I'm in love with the way Jessica writes, and the way I feel when I read one of her books. She makes every book a new adventure to start and every book is a book that stays in your heart for a while after. And Cash did it for me! My favorite author finally went into her cowboy era and I'm not mad about it! I loved it. This book was right up my alley and she delivered a masterpiece.Cash & Mollie are my new favorite book couple and Cash claimed his spot up there with the Eaton boys and that says something. And Mollie is my spirit animal from now on. She's fierce, badass, and doesn't let anyone run over her. I loved how Jessica made her grief journey relatable and understandable for readers. And Cash? Ugh loyal to the bone, a family man, and loves hard without any shame, it's refreshing to see MMC's like that..Here are some of my favorite quotes from this book.“Mollie Luck, if there’s one thing you don’t need, it’s someone telling you what you can’t do. You know what you’re capable of.” Looking at me, he screws one eye shut against the brightening sun. “So get out there and do the damn thing.” Smiling, I sit up straighter. “That was a surprisingly great little speech, Cash.”" Maybe Dad wasn’t a bad person. Maybe I’m not either. Maybe we were both just hurt people, and we did the best we could with what we had. Just because we weren’t good to each other doesn’t mean we haven’t been good to the people who are in our lives. "“But you can.” He steps closer, melting his hips into mine. “Because you gotta know by now, I can’t deny you anything, Mollie. Not a damn thing.” I thought swooning was something that only happened in books. I can now affirm it is an actual thing that happens to actual people, because it’s happening to me.

Cash & Moliie
4.5 stars for me! I love a great Cowboy romance and this one was fantastic. It has angst, banter, humor and emotions and I love when an author can bring all the feels to a book. I loved watching the growth in Mollie. And who doesn't love a swoon worthy Cowboy? Cash was everything! I just can't wait for the rest of this series.

- enemies to lovers- forced proximity- cowboy/city girl- Texas Ranch- small town- mustache ridesThis book was WOW. I absolutely ate this up. A cowboy that’s not afraid to show his emotions and gives mustache rides? Well, hot damn.I love Mollie and Cash. I found both characters to be very likable from the start. The story moved at a nice pace that kept it moving but didn’t feel rushed. I do feel Mollie’s dad brought them together because he knew they’d be perfect for each other. The bathroom scene, the truck scene, THE BARN SCENE. They were all so good. 🥵🥵 The plot to spice ration was perfect. I hate when there’s so much spice it just takes over the story.I found the side characters very enjoyable and I really look forward to what Wyatt and Sally have gotten themselves into. Also, I hope Wheeler finds herself a sexy cowboy.I’ve been counting down the days to read this and it totally went beyond my expectations.#booklover ##bookstagrammer #booksta #bookclub #bibliophile #bookworm #bookcommunity #booktok #booksbooksbooks #bookworm #spicybooks #readmorebooks #momswhoread #bookish #idratherbereading #allbooked #bookrecs #bookreviews #readersgonnaread #booksofinstagram #books #romance #romancebooks #cowboyromance #enemiestolovers #forcedproximity

The best cowboy romance that I’ve read in a long time!
Hating the grumpy cowboy next door never hurt so good. Now I’ve read my fair share of cowboy romances, but it’s been a while since I’ve read one as good as this book. Cash is the perfect example of a good cowboy romance! It had everything that I love about this trope and so much more. It honestly took me by surprise. This book had a little bit of everything. From the very first page, I was hooked to Cash and Mollie’s story. As someone who enjoys enemies to lovers, the banter and push and pull between these two characters was so good! It also made for some great moments throughout this book. I also thought the love between Cash and Mollie was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Which made the slow burn pace of their romance worth the wait. The other thing that I loved and found touching about this story was connection between these characters when it came to grief and how they dealt with it. For me, it made their story more relatable and deeply moving.Overall, this book was such an enjoyable read that I cannot recommend enough. Cash was a great introduction into Jessica’s new small town cowboy romance series. A definite must read for anyone who loves cowboys and small town romances. I can’t wait to read more of this series!

I think I might have to move to Hartsville
CashLucky River Ranch #1By Jessica PetersonI was not prepared for this!I’m not a cowboy kinda girl…..I’m thinking of moving to Hartsville, Texas! This book had me the moment Mollie arrived in Hartsville. Her emotions were on her sleeves, hate, anger…dislike…you name a negative thought and it was on her mind and in her memories. Her immediate dislike of Goody and most definetly Cash.Ok, he might deserve some of it, but really…the fact was they had both lost someone important to them when Garrett Luck passed away. Now can Mollie and Cash come to terms with Garrett’s amendment and realize that maybe Garrett had a reason to bring these two together.Cash Rivers had found a second father in Garrett Luck. They were fast friends, Garrett treated all the River’s boys like they were his own and he had told Cash numerous times that the ranch would be his…he never said a word about how Cash would get it however. The test begins, the banter flies back and forth between these two, the chemistry is palitable, they get to know and understand each other and things begin to change. Lessons are learned and assumtions crumble and a new beginning just might be around the corner.I love this couple, I loved their emotional growth, their coming together, the walls Cash knocks down and the hope they both have.Author Jessica Peterson gets five solid gold stars for making me fall in love with Cash and liking Mollie for looking back, finding her truths and getting a back bone.Next up, Wyatt Rivers and if we though Cash and Mollie had a wild ride, I think Wyatt and Sally are going to give readers a run for their money.

Mollie returns to the ranch where she was born . She finds out she's the heir, but in return, she has to live on the ranch for a while. The thing is, Mollie’s a city girl now—she’s not the little girl who used to live on that ranch anymore. And to make matters worse, she has to deal with a grumpy cowboy.I found it really interesting to see the different perspectives Cash and Mollie had of Garrett. I really liked the scenes between them where they were honest about what Mollie’s father represented in each of their lives.Their communication was one of the biggest highlights for me—I love a couple that knows how to communicate!I loved watching Mollie rediscover herself and, at the same time, seeing Cash do the same, including setting new priorities in his life. And of course, the chemistry between them was written so well. The moment they finally give in? CHEF KISSAll the characters won me over, and I can’t wait for the next stories. I’m super excited to read Wyatt and Sally’s story—ever since the first hint at the beginning of the book, I knew I wanted them together.

Cash and Mollie
Cowboy romance is definitely in at the moment and I love this genre. The main protagonists, Cash and Mollie, lock horns from the start, but eventually see the best in each other and their best sides are very fine indeed. There was very little angst later in the book which I prefer and the stage has been set for the rest of the series.

3.75 stars!
I really enjoyed the banter between Mollie & Cash. He thought the worst of her and she was not there to stay so it was really nice seeing them slowly change their opinions. I always enjoy the author's writing but some parts of this felt boring. Also Mollie & Cash developed feelings instantly which was kind of off putting but still I liked them together and the last few chapters were really good. The side characters were entertainig too so I can't wait to read the next books in the series.

Love Mollie and Cash
This is the first book in the new Lucky River Ranch series. Book one focuses on Mollie and Cash. Cash is a cowboy, a country boy. He is deeply dedicated to his family and he lives for running the ranch that he believed he would be inheriting from his mentor and father figure. Mollie is a city girl, estranged from her country roots and father. Her life and dreams reside in the city. But when her father dies and she conditionally inherits his estate, Mollie and Cash meet and it does not go well.Enemies to lovers, small town, country romance. City vs country.Love their chemistry. They have it from the start. It starts with misunderstandings and bickering and then turns into banter and flirting. “Let’s not murder each other, okay?”“I make no promises.” They spend time together, they talk, they laugh, they get to know each other. I love how their relationship grows so naturally and when they finally give in to their feelings for each other, things heat up fast. But Mollie’s life is in the city. And Cash is a country boy. As much as Mollie is finding her place on the ranch, can she give up her city life. Should she have to? Should Cash have to give up his life on the ranch to be with the woman he loves? Love that both of them are learning to put their needs first and finding their own happiness. They aren’t trying to change each other, but are willing to try and figure out a way to be together while still chasing their own dreams. And, as always, I love all the side characters. Mollie and Cash are surrounded by an amazing group of family and friends. Wheeler, all of Cash’s brothers, I desperately need all of their stories now too!
