Wait for other brands to release laptops with similar processors. This asus exclusivity tax is making the price too much for this laptop which comes without dedicated graphics processor. At best laptops with these processors are worth only around Rs.60000 to Rs.70000.

I saw a review in this page which said this lap was overpriced due to monopoly.Does asus have a monopoly over the amd chips? yesis it overpriced? nowhy? because all lap are priced higher here in india compared to US due to import duty and things.Now who is this lap for?this lap has a 12 core processor which means a beast in multi threaded apps.it has a 3k 120hz display.its only 1.3kg and 14 inch, so a compact device.Now it's not a gaming device as u could get a laptop with 4050 or 4060 in this range and with 144 or 165 hz display.However, its integrated gpu is about as good as an rtx 3050 laptop gpu in gaming.Now i can guarantee it's battery will last 10+hr (100% to 0%) with casual usage(in 60hz) like browsing and video playback as i have a omen lap with ryzen 7 7840hs which is a bit less efficient than the newer chip in the asus one and my drain is-about 10 to 11% per hour in 60hz and 12 to 13% in 165hz.(once I went with it to college,it had about 94% charge ,after about 6 and a half hour of usage it had 30%(done browsing for a long time and watched a full cinema.)To get this level of battery life i tweaked and made a custom power plan in the control panelNow as far as build quality of the asus vivobook is considered, i know multiple friends who have their keys fell of their keyboard but idk if it would affect this one as my friends lap where b/w 40 to50k.Performance wise, if you need a gaming lap choose an 4060 lapIf you only need a good cpu then choose this onewhy? that's because it has the highest multicore performance among windows lap period.There are about 5 lap processors which are available now in the market which can beat it but they are far more expensive.If u can wait there are new amd and intel chips which should be released in india soon but will it affect this price range? idkIn this price range there are ryzen 7840hs,7940hs,8845hs,8945hs which for some reason are about the same in no of cores,clock speed,architecture. they are all 8core processors(lower than 12 cores of this one) with about exact same benchmark speeds except the npu part.In intel's side not only are these lap weaker but their battery for h and hx series are anywhere between 1.5 to 5hrs tops(100 to 0%).Unless u are running some app which need some special instruction of the intel cpu i think u can go for this one.If u are just pumped for the ai stuff and want to run some ml models don't look for this, buy a lap with dedicated rtx 4060.
