This is an excellent product. I love how it absorbs in so quickly and how my skin feels afterwards. I have tried other 20% Niacinamide serums, but they don't quite absorb in so readily or feel the same. This is the best one I've found and at a reasonable price, so I keep using it. This, along with a retinol serum and hyaluronic serum used daily, has close to having erased and/or greatly diminished most signs of aging including inevitable wrinkles and sun damage. At 70+, I don't expect to look like I'm 20 years old but can easily pass for 25 or more years younger than I am. Of course, a Keto diet with intermittent fasting makes a huge difference. But for topical use, I highly recommend this product.

Love this serum!!! I use it religiously morning and night and it always absorbs so quick and easy. It is a staple in my skincare routine and has made my pimple scars fade. I combine this with my tretinoin and my texture, glow and dark spots get better and better. It did take a good month or two before I started seeing its effects but I just reordered my second bottle. Its lasted me 2 months already and I still have some to go!! Its very very lightweight and no residue. I love my niacinamide!!

I bought this to create my own serum. I had to do some calculations to make an 8% solution mixed with bacteriostatic water. I tried to mix in some ponds lotion to thicken it by shaking it together, however they are not compatible that way so I don't recommend trying that. It might mix if done in a beaker and a frother is used. I decided later that it's for the best as I want to make sure the lotion doesn't prevent it from fully penetrating my skin. I've used it twice a day for about a month and I definitely notice a different on my age spots around my eyes and on my hands. I don't see anything happening to shrink my pores or help with blackheads on my nose. I recommend starting with light applications until your skin gets used to the niacinamide and make sure you don't use it with another product containing niacinamide. I did that the other day with a new overnight moisturizing mask and when it starting burning, I checked the mask ingredients and sure enough there was some sneaky niacinamide in there. The burning went away after about 5 minutes and wasn't terrible, just be safe with it.

I love this serum. It’s great to add to any part of your skincare. It is a great value for money because you can add it to your other skincare items and not have to use another separate niacinamide serum. It absorbs quickly and it is very effective. Niacinamide is moisturizing to the skin and helps skin build its own collagen and many other things.

I have oily/combination skin with large pores, and unfortunately for me, my pores tend to clog easily, especially since I wear mineral sunscreen and makeup about 4x a week AND I have oily skin. To combat this, I’ve made AHAs and BHAs staples in my morning and night-time skincare routines to keep my pores clear. For almost a year, I’ve also been using Paula's Choice 20% Niacinamide Serum, but at $55 + tax for just 0.67 oz every three months, it’s hard to justify the cost. That’s why I decided to try this as an alternative. While it’s a decent substitute, I didn’t start seeing results until about six weeks in, and even then, the results were minimal compared to Paula’s Choice. The difference lies in the formulations. Paula's Choice includes highly effective, high-quality ingredients like niacinamide, acetyl glucosamine, purslane, camellia japonica flower extract, epigallocatechin gallate, and ascorbyl glucoside. In contrast, Nano Recipe’s 20% Niacinamide Serum relies solely on niacinamide as the key ingredient. Don’t get me wrong - this is a good budget-friendly option. However, Paula’s Choice delivers noticeable results within 4 weeks, whereas this serum took 6-7 weeks to show mild improvements. I’ll likely repurchase this once I run out and finish my stash of Paula’s Choice, but it’s clear that you get what you pay for in terms of effectiveness.
