Citric acid is a fantastic product for home cleaning. I especially use it to clean my kettle — it removes limescale quickly and easily. Used to clean well furred kettle, used as suggested and worked perfectly. Have since checked on amount used on the Internet and possibly could have used a lesser dilution. Will attempt this next time. Good quantity (now decanted to a airtight container) should last a looooong time.

This is brilliant for cleaning the pan of a toilet. I have tried just about everything to remove the brown staining that appears over time, but all to no avail. I happened (by chance) to read a write-up by someone who had the same problems. I purchased it and gave it a go... I sprinkled about two tablespoons into the water, gave it a little stir and left it for 4 hours. Got the toilet brush in action (not all gone but quite a lot of the stains had started to go). I repeated the process 3 more times, each time leaving it for 4 hours, then brushing. Until after 4 goes, the pan was almost clear. I now treat it once a month. Great stuff, I recommend it to all my family and friends and those who have tried it, give it a thumbs up.
