I have a history of having stubborn sink and tub clogs in this house, despite using hair catchers, etc I hate calling plumbers and prefer to handle myself, but most drain openers dont usually work very well. And I hate pouring toxic chemicals into waterways. I tried Green Gobbler recently, and it is ACTUALLY speeding up my slow drain. It has no odor and instructions are easy. I prefer the powder because you activate it with hot water, and you get more uses per container (i think) I didnt order the super-concentrated one because I prefer doing it gradually. Just invested in the 25lb bucket because it's s better deal and will use it for maintenance once drain is completely open

Worked for a stubborn reoccurring clog in my kitchen sink. I applied it twice for tough clogs , the second time I left it in the sink overnight . The morning after I ran hot water and used a plunger to push the debris through the pipe and that seemed to get rid of the clog completely! It doesn't work with water alone if it's a tough clog . You'll need a ( sink or toilet ) plunger depending on the clog!

The good reviews had me optimistic so I ordered this same-day to avoid having to call the plumber out over the weekend. Those upcharges are no joke. This was for a run of the mill toilet clog. No tampons or pads, no excessive toilet paper, just a larger than normal #2. I start with three scoops last night. Pour in the hot water as well, then wait the recommended half hour before flushing, again with hot water. No change. So next, I put it five scoops, pour in more hot water and let it sit overnight - the recommendation on the tub for tough clogs. After about twelve hours, I try flushing again with hot water. The water looks a little less murky? But the toilet still won’t drain. So I try it again. Same routine. I wait three hours this time. Nothing. I’ve finally dumped the last of the powder in the clog. That’s almost $50 literally down the drain that I could’ve saved for the plumber. If it can’t handle “organic material” as promised, I marvel that it could handle anything tougher.

This product works wonders! After clearing a big clog in the tub and sink (I had to do it a few times) I now use it once a month and I no longer have clogging issues. This helped me avoid paying a plumber to clear the drains.
