This is a quality (for the price) piece of gear for the right user. It is the size of a woman’s handbag, though. It looks nothing like a briefcase or messenger bag. I tried to made it look “Indiana Jones chic” and just looked….strange.PROs:- Great craftsmanship and materials for the low price- Smells like tanning chemicals, not industrial chemicals- Lots of pocketsCONs:- Tiny. Barely fits and iPadI looked at this manufacturers page and they have some great looking stuff. If this bag is too small for you, I would recommend one of their other products. This one will go to my 12-year-old daughter for when she wants to look adventurous.Note: this review takes into consideration the price point. Very nice real leather masculine design satchel for men.At first glance I was a little surprised at the smaller scale of it because the ones I remember that look like this in the past seem to be a little bit bigger, but I like it.When expanded out the inside space is about 8-1/2 inches tall, 4 inches deep, and 11 inches wide.There are a lot of pockets all over the thing, inside and out.- The back has a large zipper compartment.- The inside of the back has one large zipper pocket, one large open pocket and two half-size open pockets side by side.- The front outside has one large zipper pocket and two attached expandable buckle-down pockets about the size of a cigarette pack.- Inside the front is a large zipper pocket, a large open pocket, and a place to hold four pens.- There are also two attached buckle-down pockets on each end big enough to hold a big wad of keys or a Swiss army knife and some gadgets like phone charger, charging wire, and earbuds.The inside is big enough to carry a video camera, a big fat organizer, or a large study bible.It also comes with a very wide leather shoulder strap as well.Although, dare I say, it is androgynous in its appeal when used as a male organizer satchel without looking like a feminine purse at all. The leather and buckles have a very 1970s masculine hippie look.
