Also, danger continues to lurk.This story was a bit over-the-top for me with the extreme emotions, but it makes sense for how certain people react to trauma. The story is well-written and entertaining. It was great to see Mason and Jasper get their well-deserved HEA.

I didn't feel any connection with either main characters. While I feel bad for the things they each went through before they met and even the scene that had them meeting, I just couldn't connect. There was some very good bedroom scenes between Mason and Jasper but even that didn't help me connect. When I can't connect I can't get invested. This is quite the imaginative story. Ms. Burke has spun the escort service concept around a bit with Mason working in the male on male branch of the business. He is helping support his sister and her family, even though this isn't a role he feels truly comfortable in. Jasper comes to Mason's rescue when he is attacked by a stalker, and their attraction is instantaneous. It's like two puzzle shaped magnets snapping together, and their relationship is off to the races. It is charming to watch them finding their way, with Jasper taking care of Mason in the way he's always looked for in a partner. I have to admire the way the two of them grow close and become better at communicating. The crazy stalker makes things difficult more than once, yet they continue to support each other. Ms. Burke has written a heartwarming story that I truly enjoyed.
