Nice fixture and fairly easy to install. Leave plenty of screw extend through the fixture. Install the cap nuts and use these to turn the screws until the fixture is tight to the wall surface. Even though it is rated Outdoors mine had no sealing gasket so I used clear silicon caulk on the top and two sides leaving the bottom unsealed making sure the the fixture was plumb before and after using the sealant. The bottom of the fixture is open but just a little to small for my hand to fit into to install the bulb. My helper was able to get it. Yes, the globe comes off for bulb removal and installation but the cap screws holding it in place are small and easy to loose..

The low brightness nighttime default provides a low level of light that serves as a convenient night light. When motion is detected, the brightness increases to provide adequate light for safe passage. The light sensor shuts down the light during daylight hours. This package provides excellent lighting when needed and saves energy when not. I am very pleased with this product.

The motion sensor dusk/dawn version....in some ways, it is very nice. In other ways, it is kind of annoying and unnecessary. One reason is that these try to do the job of both detecting motion and detecting light, and you can buy either motion or dusk/dawn detecting bulbs and attachments for any fixture. So if you buy one built-in, it had better be good. The dusk/dawn detection is actually really great, and there is no back and forth (bad hysteresis) like some light detection modules have.The motion detection is pretty good too, but there are only 2 options. If you choose on/off, it will only turn on for only about 5 seconds (the information page is wrong, I think). If you choose dim/bright, it will brighten when motion is sensed for 2 minutes, then dim again. These are not adjustable. And there is just one button, so you can make adjustments to the mode and dimming level, but is not super easy.But the biggest problem is that there is no way to change the light to a simple on/off light, except temporarily. You can flip the switch fast and force the light to "manual" mode, but it will revert back to motion detection next time. So...be sure you really want motion detection and dusk/dawn all the time. Although with some bulbs (all of the LEDs I have) there will be no dimming at all, maybe they can't dim, so in fact you can defeat this (sometimes unwanted) dimming function altogether by buying certain bulbs.So while I think these look pretty nice and work pretty well, they are accomplishing an awful lot (dusk/dawn, dimming, motion detection, several modes) with literally has 1 single button. More customization would have been better here IMO, unless you happen to like exactly how it's programmed out of the box.

The media could not be loaded. Received the lights 2 days ago. Shipping was fast and the box arrived in perfect condition. The lights were packaged very well and arrived with no damage. All the parts were included as well as one spare nut, washer and screw in addition to the provided wire nuts for each light. I ordered the larger size and they fit perfectly & proportionately. The lights themselves had no damage at all and seem to be pretty well constructed. The material used to make the lights is some type of pot metal imho. Installation was pretty basic. Attach the black wire to the black wire, white wire to white wire and ground wire to ground wire. Just wish I had 3 hands to install them. It’s easily doable with 2 hands but can’t hurt to have a second set of hands. I installed a 60W led bulbs made with amber glass for a warmer glow. All in all they look great and I’d buy again.

These light fixtures are Absolutely GORGEOUS!!!We bought 4 medium and 2 small. We found these on another site so we checked out Amazon also and much cheaper here. They are definitely worth the money and they look AMAZING on our Patio posts. We bought the small ones for our side garage door and the other to put right outside our kitchen door as you step onto the patio because it's a smaller area for mounting.We used 60 Watt LED bulbs but we would like to use Brighter bulbs being that we only have them on 2 posts. They really dressed up our patio and Office doors.

These lights were purchased for use outdoors and have worked out very well. They're just the right size and exhibit very good quality workmanship.

I did ask a friend to install. He was at it a good half-hour.
