 With its fantastic portability you still don’t fall short on strong materials and overall workmanship. the bike is built with majority aluminium alloy, all areas of the bike are welded well and bolted too perfection; not to mention the branding and design. The bike for some reason only comes in two colours black and white and thanks to the Low temperature painting technology that they use, the build is extremely resistant to corrosion.The bike is shipped in a reasonably sized box , certainly not going to fit through your letterbox but once you remove the bike your realise there is no construction work needed at all! You have all the maintenance tools needed to upkeep the bike , along with instructions and charger. A bike like this is pretty much usable out of the box.Looking around the bike even further we can’t overlook the components powering the bike. The battery is located on the back and weighs about 1.4kgs. This is completely removable and you are able to charge away from the bike frame. Meaning you could Lock up the bike and take the battery with you! The Lithium-ion battery guarantees a sufficient power supply. It takes about 180 minutes to charge and With any product like this its Protected by 8 circuit protections (show on screen) so you haven’t got to worry about this thing unexpectedly blowing up on you. A fantastic feature is that off being able to charge your phone at the same time!The Bikes momentum is all delivered from the built in motor on the back wheel producing 235W of pure power. now you get a few modes to toggle through and thankfully this can be done easily using the air wheel app. once connected you have a few great features, like a build in self fault diagnosis , so if your having any problems with the bike your get the right information. A cycling track mode to see your whereabouts and even a data collecting section to keep track of your ride data. now thats all great but the ride is just important.Like i said you’ve kinda got three modes. Body builder mode. which as you can imagine basically strips this guy down the its routes and goes back to a traditional bike…. I mean its great when the battery dies… it’s reassuring to know you can still cycle normally but we brought an electric bike for a reason. For that you’ve the power assisted mode, which is set at default offering you 117 watts of power to assist you with your cycling. Now I have road this a handful of times and you just seem to forget your cycling full stop. the brush fullness and optimal support given from the motor is fantastic! Going up steep hills is just a breeze.Now your probably thinking it hasn’t any suspension it must be so uncomfortable and to be honest i kind of thought the same! but i couldn’t have been any more wrong! i don’t know if its because the build is so sound and solid or if its just the pure quality of the air filled tires . ….but bumpy terrane isn’t half bad. It certainly deals with it quite well!So in assisted mode you get about 110km of traveling distance , that obviously varies but for local and daily commutes your be able to get to work without breaking a sweat.Now like i said thats two ways of using the bike…. there is a third. In the app you have the option the stick the bike in all electric mode. Meaning that 235w motor will not just assist but pretty much do all the work for you.Yes thats right with a switch of a button you’ve turned your assisted bike into almost a moped! with speeds of up to 20kilo meter per hour and above ….you pick up some serious speed without having to do any work at all. the throttle controls the amount of power you want and the motor delivers the rest!The breaks offer sharp and responsive feedback ensuring whatever speeds your going at you come to a safe stop. to partner up with that you have the break lights on the back letting everyone know your intentions.not to mention back at the controls you have lights running off the battery that can be controlled with the switch.For some reason they felt it was needed to intricate a onboard horn (beep horn) i mean i probably would have chosen a less irritating noise but nevertheless safety first!Now the distance you can travel on full electric mode is considerably halved but like we said there are other options with the assisted and full personal operation.It’s a beautiful bike through and through and there is no doubt that with its considerably versatile cycling options and premium quality it’s unfaultable.
