Not actually used this in anger just yet, but have tried it out on some scrap steel.Super easy to use and the selection of nuts will I'm sure keep me going for some time.Working out which mandrel is right was easy enough to master, just follow the sizes..A great bit of kit for the workshop.

The media could not be loaded. Brilliant and effective riveter, pretty straightforward and easy to use. Very well-built and quite heavy-duty, including the case. Good selection of mandrels which are easy to change with the included tool. Gives good strong and dependable results.Come in handy a surprising number of times already. Good value for a useful, reliable and good quality tool.

This tool has a nice heft to it and feels to be well made. I haven’t had a huge amount of use for it just yet but so far it’s worked perfectly. I’d imagine a tool like this is there to be ready if needed and the case is ideal to store it in.You get quite a few nuts with it to keep you going before you get your own. It took a bit of learning to work out which parts go together to use them but it’s quite straight forward once you know.Given the price and the good quality I’d say it’s a good kit to have around. I’m happy with it.

Rivnuts are really useful for attaching things to sheet materials, box section, etc and for repairs to furniture and other items and are a great alternative to tapping threads. On the occasions I have needed to use them, I have got by, by fitting them using a nut, bolt, washer and a couple of spanners but this is fiddlier and less convenient than using the proper tool, so I was keen to try out this one from BLOSTM, when offered.The tool itself is made from Chrome Vanadium steel, so feels nice and sturdy and is fitted with 2 x 29cm handles to provide plenty of leverage and they have nice rubber coated grips for comfort.Included in the set are 7 x mandrels to allow the fitting of different sized Rivnuts (M3, M4, M5, 2 x M6, M8 and M10), a spare locking pin and a small tool for removing the pin and tightening the locking nuts and everything packs away neatly inside a plastic blow moulded case.In the centre you have a knurled plastic wheel that you turn after installing a nut, to remove the tool.Finally, you get a selection of different sized, Zinc plated carbon steel rivet nuts to get you started.***** In The Box *****1 x Nut Setting Tool7 x Mandrels150 x Rivet Nuts (M3, M4, M5, M6, M8 and M10)1 x User Guide1 x Storage Case***** Conclusion *****I have to say, I’m really pleased with this tool from BLOSTM as it is really straight forward to use and feels nice and sturdy.I love that it covers all the sizes I am likely to use and that everything is neatly stored together in a case.The only thing you need to keep in mind is that the tool does require a bit of space in order to work, as you need enough room to allow the arms to be opened, so not ideal for small spaces, but if you have a job that requires more than a few rivnuts to be installed, then a tool such as this is definitely the way to go and offers decent value for money at around £35.99.
