Love love love this cooker. It makes the rice so fluffy. Not sticky and starchy. Less carbs! I haven’t tried the other grains but I’m sure it will be well liked also. Can make it before the rest of the meal as it keeps the rice warm. EASY to clean!!wipe it out and then just leave it open to completely dry inside. Can make a lot of rice.

I haven’t had much experience with rice cookers, but this one has been great! Much more consistent experience than my previous unit, I love the warming timer that gives you an idea of how long the rice has been warming when finished cooking. It has its quirks, but I really like that it doesn’t use PFAs. The measuring cup it comes with is meant to be used with the measuring lines on the pot, and the cup is actually about 2/3rds of an actual 8oz cup, so if you don’t want to use the included cup you have to calculate the water ratios yourself, which isn’t really rocket science, so no biggie. I’m extremely satisfied with this thing. I make way more rice and quinoa than I did before I purchased this.

Overall, really like this. Love the various options for regular or lower carb rice. I do wish it was bigger, so if you have more than 2-3 people in your family, it won’t be big enough.

I'm not sure if mine is defective, but so far this has burnt our rice on the keep warm function each time we've used it. I'm coming from using a zojirushi model which are supposed to be the best so maybe this is why I'm having a "bad experience" with this one. I wanted to buy a healthier rice cooker without the PFAS non stick coatings, and found this one. Its very large for the same amount of cooked rice, and it seems clunky like the lid doesn't close snuggly or click like its secured. And for a couple decades now, we have made rice in the evening for dinner and left it on the keep warm setting so we could eat it for breakfast as well. This model burns the rice to one hard brown chunk all three times we've done this so far, and its mushy in the middle. The pot is way lighter in weight than my previous brand, and seems a lot thinner, which is probably why. I called customer service and they said I was keeping it on the "Keep Warm" setting for too long and it shouldnt go overnight. I guess since I've been doing that with other brands for years this was surprising to me. This is going back.

Best rice cooker ever!! I use this every day and it’s so easy. It makes so much rice so it’s perfect for meal prep, and I love the versatility in types of grains you can make. Also- the carb reduction feature is incredible. I expected it to make the rice taste worse, but it tastes the exact same… just healthier! Another amazing item from GreenPan for a happy customer for life :)

Amazing appliance. Rice comes out perfect. Use it weekly to cook steel cut oatmeal. No standing over a pot and stirring for 45 mins. Thirty minutes to cook a batch of oatmeal.

This rice cooker looks great. But the capacity space was small and inconvenient for even scooping it out with how the lid opens. Worst of all, the inner bowl/pot chipped during our first use.

This rice cooker is awesome! It fits right on my counter, and is great for daily use. It cooks about 4 cups of UNCOOKED rice, not to get confused that rice expands as it cooks. It has lots of different functions which I have found helpful. I definitely recommend this product.
