Updated review: Rani contacted me immediately so solve my issue with the new bag that smelled funny (that came from amazon warehouse, not directly from rani). They sent me a fresh new bag from their store. The package was also a newer design. They shipped the product really fast and it got here fast. I am 100% pleased with the product and with rani's incredible customer service. Thanks rani! I have purchased severeal of Rani's products in the past and they are all high quality and reasonably priced. I will continue to be a customer!First review:I bought the smaller bag of this before but for some reason they are different. The bigger bag smells funny and is less sweet. Had a much better experience with smaller bag.

Excellent quality rock sugar.

IT COMES IN A DIFFERENT PACKAGING THAN BEFORE. IT HAS A GRAY PLASTIC OVER THE USUAL CLEAR PLASTIC WITH YELLOW WIDE STRIPE. I WASN'T SURE IF I SHOULD OPEN IT. I CALLED AND IT WAS EXPLAINED CLEARLY TO ME THAT IT IS A NEW AND MORE PROTECTIVE PACKAGING.

I used these sugar crystals for geod cake. They were so easy to dye different colors and I loved the taste/texture/crunch. Everyone asked about the sugar crystals and where excited that it was an edible decoration on the cake.

I like the quality

I bought this to use as ice on a cake. When it came in and I seen how small the bag was for the price I paid... I was not to happy. I did read that it was 7oz but sometimes until its physically in front of you it doesnt add up. I did use them to fill inbetween rock candy that I ended up buying after this came in. They tasted like sugar but surely not $8 good! I will not buy again.
