These plates are a really cool and beautiful idea! I like the idea that they're built from leaves, and every plate has a slightly different "pattern", which adds to the uniqueness of the plates. I beat them up upon arrival by putting a hot, saucy dish in it, and it held up very well, and wasn't too hot from the bottom either. I even rinsed the plate after eating they held up much better than other disposable paper/plastic plates that I've used. Brought them home and my parents were impressed as well! They used them to put out snacks and candies for the holidays. Awesome product!

When I first bought these plates I was a bit skeptical since they are made from leaves, however, they are suprisingly durable and look nice especially if you like a woody feel. These plates are also environmentally friendly. According to the label, manufacture requires minimal processing with no added chemicals and the plates are easily compostable. In short, I would recommend these plates to anybody.

We used these plates for our 130 person backyard wedding. We didn't want to use plastic products, but also needed something durable and nice-looking enough for a wedding. These plates are beautiful and held up well for the day. We got 9x9 for dinner and 6x6 for appetizers/dessert, which were the perfect sizes. Each plate is a slightly different color/pattern due to variation in the leaves used, and I loved that. We ended up with a good number of leftover plates and I'm excited to use them for our baby shower in a few months!

I had some friends over for pre-Christmas gathering. We didn't want to do dishes, but also didn't want paper/plastic. A friend recommended the clean earth goods palm leaf plates and we tested them out. We served salmon steaks, quinoa salad. The plates held up to fork and knife and really complimented our dish. Went really great with guests (One wanted me to pull up the Amazon page, so he could read about it). I think I'll order some more.

I just received my plates (a day early!) and I'm really impressed. They're like sturdy little trays and look like bamboo, with a cool unique design. So much better than paper or plastic plates. I'm using them at a casual holiday brunch at my house this weekend and can't wait to show them off. When I'm done, I'm going to bury them in my mother's garden, which makes me feel good - no trash, no recycling, just back to nature.

I love that for every 25 plates you buy a tree is planted! These are quite sturdy and very nice.

I've been searching for an environmentally friendly product to replace the traditional paper plates for a while now. As a single guy who's constantly busy I don't always like to wash dishes so I go for the more disposable route. And with these eco plates I can actually dispose of the plates with a clear mind since they're compostable. I hope they come out with eco friendly utensils as well to match or even in a package. Definitely a product I will by again and again.

Haven't used them yet and gave some to my two daughters who loved the eco quality and can't wait to use them. They are really good looking plates.
