Good product, great customer support
I bought two batteries from this vendor based upon experience with a previous purchase. After I received the batteries I was unable to get them to take a charge. Tried all the usual, boost with dumb charger, hook to my Victron solar, try with a fully charged battery etc. When I contacted XZNY they were responsive the same day! Of course I went through the warranty process with them and showed video and pictures and model numbers of the charger and multimeter. Upon showing them they notified me they would ship replacement product. I understand stuff happens and this vendor was top notch in response and helpfulness with a no problem warranty. The replacement batteries have been functioning perfect for over two months and endure repeated discharge and charge cycles. They appear to be every bit as tough and dependable as the first battery I purchased from them a few years ago that is also still in use.Excellent product and excellent vendor experience.

Running two in parallel
Bought 2 of these to give me 40AH over a half year ago. Running them in parallel for running a 100W 7300 ham radio. Working very well. I'm using an mppt 10A charge controller that can handle 20V solar cells. I also adapted a Dell power supply to use with the controller. Nice light weight power source for POTA and field day use.

Very good value
This battery arrived on time and seems solidly built. I am using the battery to power a Garmin fishfinder. I was very pleased that after I installed the battery my Garmin showed that it was receiving 13.6 watts. This should provide optimal picture quality on that unit. I feel like I received great a very good battery at an optimal price.

Exceeded expectations!
I wanted to share my experience with the XZNY 12.8V 20Ah LiFePO4 battery I purchased off Amazon. I know it's only April, but around my house it's always Halloween, so I purchased this battery in early March in the hope that it would power a tricycle for several hours as it went around a track. I originally purchased a 12v motor that looked like it would work, and didn't draw too many amps, so I figured the XZNY battery would be able to power it throughout the day without needing to be recharged. Unfortunately, while the battery did power the motor, the motor was not powerful enough to work in my application. So, having worked with windshield wiper motors for other props (those being powered through a regulator), I knew that motor would have enough power to move the trike, but wasn't sure on the amp draw it would take to power everything plus the weight of the battery. So, seeing as how I already had everything pretty much ready to go, and only needed to make a few modifications to allow for the size of the new motor, I took a chance and hooked everything up. As soon as I connected the last wire to the battery, the front wheel of the trike lifted off the ground, and moved way faster than I expected!! Success!! Now for the real test... I needed a battery that would power the trike for at least 8-10 hours so I wouldn't need to stop it throughout the day for a recharge, and on a small trike, there’s not enough room for 2 large batteries. So, I set up a small track loop, placed the trike on it, and started the timer. WOW!! I was hoping for 8-10 hours, and on low speed, this battery powered the trike for over 13 HOURS STRAIGHT!! I ran the battery until it was depleted, recharged, and repeated this process several times. Each time with the same result! I then changed the configuration to run the motor on high speed. I knew this would severely impact the battery life, but even on high speed, the battery powered everything for over 7 hours!! I’ll admit that for the high speed test, the trike was on unlevel patchy ground, so that made the motor work harder and draw more amps, but still, 7 hours straight was still very good! My next addition is to add some LED lights to this thing so you can see it in the dark, and while I have a converter to go from 12v-5v, I’m going to have to see how running the lights impacts the performance of the battery. But, I’d only be powering the lights for 3-4 hours, so hopefully things will still work out. If not, I’ll have to either grab a 12v 30Ah battery for the whole setup, or add on a 12v 6-10Ah battery to help power the motor longer and have the lights stay on. Okay, so would I recommend this battery to others – 1000% YES! Far outweighed my expectations, especially considering that I wasn’t planning on powering a beefy windshield wiper motor for this project! I LOVE the screw terminals, and while you wouldn’t think a handle on a battery would make too much of a difference, in my application, it was HUGE!! Having to put the battery in a compartment, and lifting it in and out of there many times was so much easier having that handle! The weight of the battery coincides with the power it provides, although if there was a shorter version of the 20Ah battery, it would have worked a little better for me, especially considering that I’ll probably need to add a smaller one depending on the light situation. I’m so glad that your batteries popped up in the Amazon search!

It works
This battery seems to be working well and it charges fine with my trickle charger that has the Lifepo4 setting. I wish it came with insulated caps so that I can screw the terminals on and off without tools. My other battery purchased from Chins had that option so it was a nice quality of life not to needing tools just a screw on a simple wire terminal.

Great & cheap way to add extra capacity to your Portable Power Station!
So far this XZNY 12.8v 20Ah battery exceeds my expectations. I have used it mainly to add additional backup battery capacity to my Ecoflow River 3, connected with XT60i to O-ring connectors. It charged my ecoflow at 100 watts charge rate through the solar input port from 0 to 90% in about 2 hours and then all the way to 100% and it still had battery left. I recharged this 20Ah battery in about 2.5 hours with a 10amp LifePo4 charger (avg of 7-8 Amp charge rate). The smart charger said it charged 21.8Ah so I believe the stated capacity is true. So basically for $45 (+$9 cable) I was able to double the capacity of my Ecoflow (added 256Wh). That is a win, and way cheaper than buying an additional battery from your power station brand (or a larger capacity model that costs much more. This XZNY brand was the cheapest of option that had good reviews, and they also offer larger capacity batteries that if you want more battery backup. I also like that it is lightweight and has a small carry handle that makes it easy to move around. XZNY also provides a 3-year warranty period for this battery in case something goes wrong.

Perfect for my ARES Go-Box
After my first order was "lost" by UPS, I re-ordered and received a replacement battery in 2 days. It was well boxed and packaged and the initial charge state was about 70% (13.2v). Placed the unit on the solar charger in the radio shack and in a couple of hours it was at 100% (13.8v). After disconnecting the battery I monitored the state of charge state for a week and in that time there was no measurable decrease. The following day we had a weather event that required the activation of the EOC (Emergency Operations Center) and our local ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Services) Net. Because of the severe lightening storms in the area and frequent power surges I opted to use my Go-Box for comms which consists of the XZNY 20Ah battery driving a Kenwood TM-V71 dual band radio. During the 6 hour activation, which included constant monitoring and significant transmission time, the battery's output never fell below 13.4v. After securing the net I decided to experiment further and used the battery to power my Icom IC-7300 for some DX work. I had to reduce output power to 75w to keep battery discharge rates below 18a on transmit but that was still enough to work Europe and South America. After several more hours on the HF rig battery voltage had dropped to about 13.0v (30%) and I decided to recharge the battery. At that rate of discharge it is probable that the battery would easily operate my Go-box for a full 24 hours. I have several other LiFePO4 batteries (full size) but I was impressed enough with the XZNY mini that I ordered another (smaller 18Ah) for a second POTA set up. Impressive battery, great service!

Works great with my solar-powered chicken coop controller
I installed this 12.8V 20Ah LiFePO4 battery to replace the 12V 18Ah lead-acid battery that came with my solar-powered chicken coop controller. The original lasted about 8 years, so it'll be interesting to see how long this one holds up. So far, it's been a great upgrade. It fits perfectly, weighs significantly less, and I really like the built-in carrying handle. My coop controller shows it's running at 13.3V, which, according to the battery's manual, means it's charged to around 70–90%. The manual is actually very informative, which I appreciate. Some quick specs worth noting: Battery type: LiFePO4, 12.8V, 20Ah Unit I recieved was 6.1" tall Terminal type: M5 Max continuous discharge current: 20A Peak discharge (5 seconds): 40A Max load power: 256W Operating temperature range: 41°F to 113°F (should be interesting to see how it performs in our cold winters) Charging voltage: 14.3V (±0.2V) Recommended charging current: 4A Note: This battery doesn't provide cold cranking amps (CCA), so it’s not suitable for starting motorcycles or vehicles. Overall, I'm happy with the upgrade. If it holds up through the winter and over time, I’ll consider switching other 12V lead-acid systems over to LiFePO4 as well.
