Good range of shades
This is the perfect set for the artist in your life - be they young or old it has such a great range of colours and is nice and compact. The case it comes in is a canvas type with a good strong double ended zipper for the lid section. The base has a plastic grid that holds the pens in place and keeps them snug and in place. The sections are the perfect size for each pen but I didn't have any issues with removing and replacing the pens so it won't slow you down. The pens are dual ended with one side having a finer bullet style tip and the other having a broad chisel tip. I'm not a big fan of the chisel tip but these laid colour well and move smoothly over the paper. The barrel of the pen is a rounded square shape that was surprisingly nice to hold and use for a longer period of time. The caps all fit nice and snuggly on the pens.Alcohol based markers can smell quite strongly but these are not in the least overpowering. The colours are rich and deep and all of the pens had good colour flow and opacity. There is bleed through on standard paper but that is normal for alcohol markers.Does come with a clear blender and also a shade chart - I did do my own swatches though as that is such a fun way to get to know your pens.

Alcohol based coloured pens
Initially when I first ordered this, I thought £37 for some felt tip pens seems really expensive but then I considered that here we get as many as 120 dual ended pens then the price seemed reasonable. They also come in a very strong carry case which has to be strong as 120 pens weigh a fair amount. As demonstrated on the main product description photo the case also acts as a display stand which works very well. If a pen is taken out the gap for that pen remains, the pens on top do not collapse downwards. My pens have arrived all muddled up, not in any order at all which is annoying. These are fairly chunky markers. They are dual tipped one end is chisel tipped are is quite broad at 6mm, the other bullet tipped end is smaller but not ideal for fine work. These are alcohol-based markers, not ideal for younger children as they may inadvertently permanently stain their clothing and damage furniture. But for careful older children and grown ups these are great as they give a more professional result with less streaking. The pens I’ve tried so far give a good result, the ink runs freely and the colour corresponds well with the colour shown on both ends of the pens.

Excellent
This is an excellent set of alcohol markers. They are very pigmented and the variety of colours is brilliant when wanting to shade and create depth. I have bought a few adult/stress colouring books recently and these have been a great addition to that, my only issue is that if the pages aren’t thick enough, the ink will bleed through to the other side which is a real shame. Some of the lighter shades I came across seemed to have either dried out or have little to no pigment, which I’m not sure is correct or not, but I couldn’t use those particular colours at all as they weren’t visible.Overall, it is a great set and good value for money.

Great set
I got this large pack of twin tipped alcohol markers for my daughters to use over half term. There is a plethora of colours and with the dual tips they can outline intricate detail and colour larger areas quickly. The colours are lovely and are good quality. They have a good grip to them and are very easy to use. We have had these a couple of weeks now with no leakage and as long as you keep the lids on correctly they will not dry out. The bag they come in is great for storage and keeping them tidy. This is a great set at a fair price.

My student teacher daughter is delighted with this brilliant set of double ended pens.
My 18 year 0lddaughter is currently in her first year at university, studying to be a teacher. This set of 120, double ended, alcohol marker pens and phone app, are going to come in very useful for her many projects and assignments over the next few years. The kick-stand carrying case lid is a very useful little addition to what is, a brilliant VFM very comprehensive set of pens.My daughter is absolutely delighted with them.

They Are Okay
The markers come in their own storage bag with a plastic divider base, which only covers the very bottom of each pen – therefore, if you are using the pens with the bag propped on its kickstand it does not keep the weight of the pens off each other. The bottom pens are therefore more difficult to get in and out because they have the other pens above them. It comes with a printed colour swatch page, but I recommend you do your own swatches as some of them are quite different (I did a mini swatch just above each colour, as per my photo). Each pen has numbered ends and the name of the colour. One end is a ‘fine’ tip and the other end is a chisel tip (listed as broad). The fine tip is not really fine – you can actually get a finer mark by using the edge of the chisel tip. Both ends give out good colour and the pens are working well so far. There are quite a few colours which are extremely pale – e.g. numbers 131 through to 182. There are a lot of pinks, but very disappointing with orange. Number 92 (chocolate) is the darkest brown; it could have done with a good, rich brown such as a dark sepia. The pack includes a colourless blender pen, but it doesn’t seem to actually blend the colours – more a dilution than a blend. On my polar bear picture, I tried to do a blend of two different greys for a bit of shadow and it didn’t work. The ‘blending’ on the red, green and blue is just where I waited for the colours to dry and then used the exact same colours over the top for a bit of shading. Sometimes when I try to pull the end cap off, the pens come apart. If you plan to use these for adult colouring books, you would need a book which is printed on one side only of each page as they do bleed through badly – even in good quality books with thick pages, such as Johanna Basford. When drawing and colouring on cardstock, they still bleed through and also bleed into the top layer of card as you use them so the lines turn out thicker than the nibs.
