I bought these Hapikids Spider Walkie Talkies for my grandsons, and they’ve been a huge hit! The design with the spider theme really grabs their attention, and they love pretending to be superheroes while using them. The sound quality is clear, even when they are a good distance apart, which makes it perfect for outdoor adventures like camping or just playing in the garden. They’re easy to use, even for younger kids, and durable enough to withstand their rough play. Overall, a fantastic gift for kids who love outdoor fun.

The Hapikids spider walkie talkie comes with 2 handheld walkie talkie devices and a very simple instruction manual.The actual devices and lightweight and comfortable for little hands to hold. There's no overly complicated functions to this, just a simple turn it on and hold down the button to talk, or press twice to ring, making it ideal for younger kids who may find extra functions overstimulating or confusing.The design is nice and will be familiar to kids and each walkie talkie is a different colour so if using this with siblings you can allocate them their own device.These seem durable and don't have any outstanding parts that would break easily.The ad states these have a range of 1000ft but I'm unable to verify that, and quite sure if that were the case, it would be in an open field. They work well for play at home though and my 4 year old is enjoying running off and contacting me through the toy and the light up eyes gives it a nice touch.It's very easy to set up, unscrew the battery compartment, insert batteries, screw the cover back on, twist the nob to on and you're ready to play.The simplicity of this toy makes it suitable for probably around 3 to 6 years, I think over that age they will find this a bit basic.It has lost a star due to the fact each walkie talkie requires 3 AAA batteries which I think is quite excessive for a toy like this and the price is a bit steep considering you'll have to fork out for 6 batteries in addition.

Many of the reviews that I saw complained about a lack of a volume button, channels etc. but it was £15 so what can you expect. They work perfectly and if you’re fussed about the simplicity of the product then simply spend more on an adult version- they’re just a fun toy.

This is a pair of walkie talkies with spider man pattern on them. Average quality material and build. Comes without batteries (3 AAA needed for each). These spider walkie talkies are just great. They are not bad quality with a great design for kids. For the price these are great value.

I have two little boys who are really intrepid explorers and love being outdoors and playing in forests, playing hide and seek and chase and so onSo I knew instantly that they would love these - they are easy to operate and lightweight enough that they can carry them around. They also love the spidey design on them.Great radius distance but the only thing I would change is I would prefer if they were rechargeable so not going through a fortune in batteries and having to faff about changing them all the time.
