I am so excited to have found this backpack for my middle-schooler to use at school in the Fall. We’ve had to get a new backpack every year since kindergarten because the bag inevitably falls apart (usually the zipper breaks, but other parts have, too). And, as she’s gotten older and carried more and more heavy books in her bag, I’ve cringed at what it’s doing to both her posture and the health of her back.With this backpack, she’ll be able to carry heavy loads, but with the chest- and waist straps, the load will be better distributed. It also has a really strong handle on top, and the straps are nice and thickly padded. It’s very comfortable. And, it’s very sturdy and durable. The zippers are strong and work smoothly.There’s a place for her to carry a rolled-up sweatshirt for when the cool mornings turn into hot days. There are many, many compartments and nooks in this bag. Honestly, it would be great for school or for hiking. It’s better-suited to kids and smaller teens and adults. I (at 5’7”, 126#) could definitely take it on a hike.For the kids (and kids-at-heart), there is a somewhat strange, but potentially fun feature of a blank Velcro patch (they call it a DIY Sticker in the listing heading) that kids can customize by drawing on it.

This backpack is ideal for day hikes and elementary school usage. The quality is okay but I wouldn’t load it too heavy as the seams may tear. The concept is good but this bag has its limitations. It packs small and flat so I’ll use it for travel when I’m shopping the tourist markets to keep my hands free.

I got this backpack as a carry-on for my son for our plane trip, and it worked so well. It fit everything we needed in it, extra clothes, tablet, switch, snacks, and his water bottle. It’s well made, and held up really well on both flights as well as using it while we were on vacation. He’s 5 and it fit him really well, I did have to adjust the straps a bit to get it to sit higher up, but this is a backpack that could grow with him. I also intend to use it for his school that’s starting soon.

I am a big fan of this backpack. I do not like large backpacks is when I go out for the day with my kids. It ends up heavier than I want to carry on my back all day. This is very easy to contain everything that I need, but it’s also comfortable and has some padding.

Got this for my son who is 10 years old for hiking and daypack bag for out of town trips or days in the busy cities. When hiking it carries his 1.5 liter water bladder that has an attached long mouthpiece that can thread through his strap in the front and has extra room for snacks. He also prefers this for his carry on in the airport because it’s not as bulky as his school backpack he sometimes uses and carries a decent sized water bottle in the deep side pockets. Zippers work well and he says it’s comfortable to wear. For me petite sized at 5’0 , I can use this also so it’s pretty versatile bag. Ag 40 bucks, it’s a little higher than what I would pay for. The materials don’t stand out to me that much to pay that amount of money for a smaller end bag but it seems to have held up so far with travel and hiking.
