Very respectable strong-end session beer
Easy low-effort alternative for the lazy homebrewer! Very happy with the flavour profile I got from this kit - nice bitterness but rounded light malt base. It's not quite in the hipster IPA camp, but it's a decent traditional brew. Following instructions to the letter it was quite a slow fermentation for me so I left the full 2 weeks on primary before racking to cornykeg. But only another 1-2 weeks needed to condition/dry-hop. I wouldn't let this go much longer than that.

Worth the wait and effort
Excellent Beer, so much better than the supermarkets. Mine turned out very smooth and bitter, almost like cask aged beers from a pub. well worth the wait and the effort. Will buy more like this again,. 5/5

Highly Recommended, Brian May Disagree
I started brewing my own beer when my husband passed, it was a cheaper way to still get the buzz on a Friday evening. This kit was perfect, it brought back the memories of when we sipped on IPA all day in the fields, bringing in the crops for the people all over the UK. It was weaker then, a bit like water, but safer, hence why we drank it all day. So I sipped a bit too much the first night, and found myself waddling down the parish! Luckily Brian brought me back and put me to bed. What a gentleman. Highly recommended!

easy to make
easy to make, but I found it was at its best after 2 months maturing in the barrel. A bit hoppy but a lovely clear pint with a nice head.

Very Good
This is my go-to IPA. I use a Safale S-04 yeast and rid my water of Chlorine and Chloramine (half a crushed Campden tablet to 5 galls). Othwersie, I brew as directed. I like the strength and the taste is complex. I find it bitter (which I like). There's a long aftertaste too. I have brewed this kit before to 3 gallons. That's even nicer!

Wife loves this.
Brews a lovely IPA. I have brewed 2 batches of this, the second was even better than the first. Both times the beer has been full of flavour. This will be a regular purchase. Highly recommended.

Disappointing - not a patch on the real bottles, despite following instructions to the letter. Definitely drinkable (more for effect rather than pleasure) but nicer beers/kits are available elsewhere...

Tastes like proper beer
I used to do a bit of home brewing years ago. I always thought the beer had a bit of a generic homebrew taste. Recently got a smaller 10l kit. This kit has two tins so I decided to give it a go. What a surprise. The beer tastes like proper beer. Delicious.
