Aptly named FURY!
It's a radical amount of fun. Mostly parking lots, mowed yards, and compacted dirt track = Fury. Mostly rough fields, big jumps, and loose dirt = Gorgon. Destroy everything = Vorteks 4x4 This generation of Fury and Gorgon are the definitive beginner hobby grade RC Trucks. I really appreciate the easy to work on bulletproof layout of the chassis. A bottom battery tray is quicker and more intuitive for beginners. Bash, blast, swap, repeat. Speed is not the focus here, but bump up to a 2S lipo and it's pretty quick for a parking lot or trail. The truck is stable, jumps decently, and has wonderful rear wheel driving and handling characteristics. What it lacks in off-road capabilities it makes up for in effortless style. "Dude, that's siiick." ~ every random adult that walks by. "Mooom/Daaad, I want one!" ~ every random kid that walks by. Upgrades: โข5200mah 2S Ovionic lipo โขDrill small holes in body to reduce parachuting. โขFan with guard and funnel booster. โขReinforce underside of body with gorilla tape or cement backer tape and shoegoo.

Get it
I bought this on that amazing sale for $120. Added a hobbywing motor and esc. Love this car. I own several expensive rigs and I enjoy this truck as a quick grab 'n go. Strong as a tank. Reliable Gorgon platform.

No regrets
This rc car is really fun! I have only taken it out twice and already love it. If you are debating to buy it donโt think and do it. Only sad part is the zee batteryโs donโt fit. Buy the lipo smart battery instead. Over all best car I have ever had!

Poor quality. wrong information given at time of purchase
This car has been nothing but a nightmare and a waste of time and money. In the add amazon directed me to buy the wrong battery and the wrong charger. Because it was a Christmas present , by the time I discovered that it didn't work the return window had almost expired. Initially, the battery was compatible with the car. The charger recommended was not compatible with the battery recommended . I had to go a local vendor to find the right charger. Once connected to a charge battery the car keeps stopping with 92% charge left in the battery. I have been calling the people at the local store for help, because getting help from you is imposible. In summary, my son has played at the most 30 minutes in three separate sessions in two months because the car doesn't work. So almost $300 spent pus time spent trying to get technical support, I still don't have a working toy and past the time of return. Don't buy this junk. No support when is needed, wrong information and poor quality.

Well worth the money
This car is a blast on 2S and 3S, itโs a lot of fun. The plug end (IC3) ticked me off though. I had to modify an XT60 to make an adapter for my batteries. I only have driven it with Lipos.

Get ready to drop at least 200 into it off the jump
This is my first arrma. This is version 2 of the fury, the original came out years ago. They refined some things, like making it a mid motor instead of rear or 4x4 like the original and most competitors. It does handle VERY well for a 2wd short course truck. And the chassis itself seems pretty durable. The issues I had, and from what I've read many others as well, is because they sell the truck so cheap, they decided to take some cost saving measures that result in issues, MAINLY with the electronics. The 2 in 1 speed controller and radio is 1 weak point. From radio connectivity issues, to speed controller/motors burning out prematurely, to just a very cheap feeling remote. One of the upgrades i did was replacing the brushed setup with a hobbywing brushless esc and motor (10bl120), and a flysky radio/reciver (gt5) with stability control (gyro) Second issue with these, is a very poorly designed steering servo. Plastic gears, very low quality circuit board, slow response and low torque I ended up burning mine out on the first battery, and replaced it with a cheap 15 dollar 25kg unit from Amazon. Twice as fast and a lot more sturdy. The third issue i had was a very weak servo saver unit. That broke on a low speed impact with another rc. It's very cheaply made plastic, and also very hard to change out. The chassis design, while made to withstand rough bashing, also makes steering work a chore. There are very few upgrades for this truck at the moment, and most cost significantly more than the competitions with a very small after market. But I will say, after numerous issues and forced upgrades/repairs i think I finally have all the bugs worked out. It definitely handles better than even my slash ultimate. Just sucks that for a budget entry level rc they have such quality controll issues and flaws. I can't say I would recommend this truck to a novice, unless your ready to jump into the hobby feet first and get your hands dirty. Horizon hobby was great with sending support and replacement parts, but I just bit the bullet and spent a little more on better quality components and she seems to be solid now.

Mir ist nach 10 Fahrten 10 akkus der regler durchgebrannt. Keine gute Qualitรคt. Ist mir auch egal, wollte das Auto sowieso auf brushless umbauen. Ansonsten bin ich zufrieden mit dem Auto.
