Light and powerful
I bought this to replace my old expensive hoover, same style, as it’s much easier without wire and light weight, and it’s 4 times cheaper, worth to have a try. I have an indoor cat, hair is an everyday thing, with small bits from litter tray, I’m very impressed with the power and suction, I can actually see how much hair, dust and rubbish goes in, it’s very easy to empty the rubbish cup. It comes with all little parts and are for cleaning different areas, very handy.

Powerful But Substandard Tools
Got off to a bad start with this machine because the description stated under "Included Compenents" that there was a telescopic tube - please refer to photo of tube to confirm that this is not the case. This misleading statement affected my decision regarding which machine to purchase - to find out that it was untrue was pretty disappointing. Another aspect that impacted my decision was the inclusion of a motorised pet hair removal tool, however there's a design fault in the tool as far as I am concerned because the rotating bristles don't actually make contact with the carpet or item you are trying to clean - in my case, the cloth material underside of a sofa cushion. This inability of the bristles to make contact is illustrated in a photo of the reverse of a driver's license card - the bristles don't quite make contact with the card, and rotating the roller has no impact upon the card, which doesn't move. The tool is rendered ineffectual due to this lack of physical contact. I had to resort to using the main motorised brush head instead. The motorised pet hair removal tool is less effective than the crevice tool, so is a useless gimmick and waste of time in my opinion. It needs to be improved. Next issue is that the motorised brush won't fit under my TV cabinet because there's a bulge in the centre of the tool and the wheels are too big anyway. The gap under the cabinet is just under 6cm (58mm to be more precise). Really would have expected it to fit under a gap that large. It will annoy some people that the machine always starts in Auto mode. Even if you switch to the low setting, as soon as you turn the machine off, it reverts to Auto mode again. Please refer to video clip. The Auto mode is thoroughly misleading - the video illustrates that the machine doesn't respond in any way when the motorised head is moved from one surface to another. Even lifting the cleaning head off the carpet has no effect - the speed of the machine doesn't change one iota even though there's no longer any load on the machine when it's dangling in the air. The Auto mode is effectively just a "Medium" speed setting. The claim that the machine detects different surfaces appears to be completely false and a deliberate attempt to mislead potential buyers into believing that it is more sophisticated than it actually is. Another observation from the short video is that the machine suddenly speeds up noticeably as it is switched off - this is annoying, wastes battery power and has the tendency to cause a bit more dust and debris to temporarily enter the machine, only to be uncerimoniously dumped on the floor again, especially if using a short tool. It might just be a few crumbs, but it necessitates turning the machine on again to clean them up! Less than halfway up the dust receptacle there is a "Max" marker. The manufacturer is suggesting that the machine should not be emptied when the dust and debris reaches that height - that effectively means that the dust receptacle is not 1 Litre in reality - it is actually less than 0.5 Litres. The lanyard brush tool is at an odd angle when inserted into the machine using the keyed lug, and trying to rotate the head leads to even weirder angles which are of no obvious practical purpose, unless you were trying to clean the underside of something, like the underside of a window sill. It appears that the manufacturer has positioned the keying lug in the wrong place - it seems to be 180° from where it should be. The head is tiny and substandard compared to most other machines, many of which have a lanyard brush and crevice tool combined, with the lanyard brush sliding and clicking easily into position. The weird angles presented by this brush make it virtually unusable and impractical. Can't fault the machine's power and ability to pick up dust etc, but using the high power setting has a marked impact on the battery life. That said, you'll only have to wait 2½ hours for it to recharge, which is half the time it takes some models. It's annoying that you have to take the battery out to recharge it (unless you have mounted the wall bracket, which saves you from having to do that). The battery has a red led light built into it which turns green when it's ready to be used, however, I found that the battery was still charging at ~40 Watts, even though the green light suggested charging had completed. I left it another ~20 mins before using the machine again, so that the battery was optimally charged. Good solid machine, but the substandard tools let it down significantly, as do some of the misleading claims, especially regarding the Auto mode, which appears to be a complete fallacy.
