It’s in a lovely bottle and looks really pretty.. but there is no shimmer in it at all?! So I was a bit disappointed

I found out the hard way that what I had tried in a pub was a parma violet gin liqueur, which was 20% alcohol and tasted very strongly of parma violets. This, on the other hand, is proper 40% gin, and tastes roughly how I'd expect gin to taste if you dropped some parma violets into it.As a non-gin drinker, that left me with a very expensive bottle of very foul-tasting spirit. I broke the seal on this one at a party and none of my guests could stomach it, either.
